Leslie's Retreat: Spacious home ideally located to everything

The house is stocked with just about everything that is in normal home! Very clean. There's a park just down the block on the water. We walked everywhere! The owner is awesome, we had questions and she replied quickly.

The washer and dryer were locked in the basement so we were unable to do laundry. Also the beds weren't very comfortable and our bed creaked with every move.bed was very cr

Beautiful large home with a lot of room... walking distance to Salem. We were made to feel welcome. Plenty of linens. With many special extra touches like several umbrellas and board games. We definitely want to go back next year!

This was a larger property than anticipated, me and my 7 family/friends fit nicely. The place has really decor and is somewhat magical vibe! Amazing had a great time and would definitely stay again!

Amazing and beautiful house, one of the most stocked kitchens I’ve seen at any rental! The host put the Halloween decorations up for our spooky weekend which was so kind. Highly recommend!

Spacious.home with many amenities. Perfect stay with ideal location and plenty of parking near downtown Salem. Host was wonderful and very understanding. Stayed there for our daughter’s wedding. She and 7 bridesmaids were able to have hair and makeup done there by 4 professionals. Beautiful home. Would definately return.

A wonderful place to spend the holidays with our extended family! So clean and decorated for Christmas; host even left Christmas crafts for kids! Kitchen has everything we needed for holiday entertaining! Plenty of room at dining room table and space in living room! We loved it!

The house was clean and a great size for our group of 9. It was also in an excellent location; we walked to and from the downtown Salem area. Host was very responsive to my advanced inquiries. We had an excellent long weekend stay!

We had no issues with our stay! Easy check in, clean linens, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen supplies and nicely decorated! Property is about a 10-15 min walk to the tourist center of Salem. There were 8 of us in for a family girls' weekend and we had everything we needed! Thanks for a great time!

Our host was always very responsive, the house was very clean and had everything we would need, especially the kitchen. Very walkable to shops, restaurants and tours. We had a really great time!!

Perfect place to stay for our first time visiting Salem. We were able to do a lot of walking since we were so close to Essex St. The house was nice and clean. Plenty of bathrooms, which was definitely a bonus. Loved that we didn't have to park on the street. We had absolutely no issues during our stay. I would highly recommend to anyone!

The house was very nice and had plenty of room for our group of 6. We had one issue with the house that Meg was able to help us problem solve quickly.

Everything was perfect. Place was clean, plenty of extra blankets and pillows. It was a quiet neighborhood with a short walk to the river and park. Was also a short walk to downtown. Everything we needed was provided.i highly recommend this place to anyone looking to visit Salem.

We had a family wedding in Beverly and needed a pet friendly House as we have 2 dogs that go everywhere with us. The House was great, plenty of room for all of us, very roomy, and comfortable rooms , comfortable beds, excellent air conditioning as it was a scorcher one day, so close to everything, parks, stores, Salem Center, coffee shops, restaurants, and the wedding venue. Meg, property owner was incredible, stopped by to meet us, made sure we got in OK. Just a great get-away for all of us. Thanks Meg!!!

We had 8 adults staying for a 4th of July weekend to attend a wedding. We enjoyed the front porch immensely. It was a great location for walking to everything.

I cannot say enough good things about our experience! This house was on a very quiet street with very friendly neighbors. Perfect location to explore Salem and relax away from all the action. Meg was a wonderful host and checked in with us a few times to make sure everything was good. She gave wonderful suggestions for our day trip to Maine. There is a binder with all the local food and entertainment with maps! The house was well stocked with everything you need plus some! We could npt have asked for a better experience! Excellent house for large group. Very well equipped, comfortable beds, parking, convenient neighborhood, responsive host. One bedroom and full bath in basement was very nice. Four bedrooms and full bath on second floor. Half bath on main floor. Be prepared for stairs. Weather didn't cooperate but looked like a nice area to walk in next to the river.

We rented this house to stay for my son’s wedding in Salem. The house was fantastic and quaint. Megan is a great host and very responsive. Would definitely rent again if we’re in Salem!

We stayed in Salem to celebrate my daughters 30th birthday and Salem was on her wish list. The property was clean, roomy for all of us, in a quiet neighborhood and home... So very close to all the things we wanted to see and easy to get to. HIGHLY recommend this property for those with families and groups!!

Home was perfect for our family get together. Location was super close to downtown shops and tours. Plenty of towels and blankets. Lots of hot water for our group of 10. We had 3 vehicles and had a pretty easy time street parking one. Check in email was detailed and helpful. Check out process was simple, for which we were very grateful. Great stay overall!

With seven family members, aged 3 to 67, we were all comfortable for our week stay during super cold temps and a snowstorm. Plenty of room for a couple of dogs too. The house was welcoming, didn't worry about breaking anything or ruining furniture. I was very grateful for the opportunity to hang out with my family and grandkids without worry, and enjoyed the ambiance of Salem very much. Thanks to Meg and co.!

Booked this place for our girls weekend from Michigan to Salem, the owner was incredibly accommodating. Comfy beds! Clean and very pleasant to stay in! Everything fun to do was a 30 minute or less walk! Highly recommend it here if you’re looking for somewhere nice to stay in Salem!

Perfect place for our Salem girls trip. There was plenty of room for the nine of us. Close enough to walk into town or grab a quick Uber ride. We really enjoyed all of the cute Halloween & fall decor. Everything was so clean the beds are super comfortable. Plenty of towels without having to do laundry. Yay! Meg was so easy to communicate with and was quick to respond to all my questions prior to our arrival We enjoyed our stay so much & hope to come back again.

We were all very happy with our stay at this house...very clean, comfortable and peaceful place. We're already looking forward to our next vacation here.
