Legacy Pointe - A Luxurious Smith Lake Home and place to relax & have fun!!

Our stay at this lake house was absolutely incredible as always (my third time to rent this home). From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The property was beautifully maintained, clean, and thoughtfully prepared with everything we could possibly need for a perfect family weekend.The kitchen was fully stocked, making it easy to cook and gather together, and the living spaces were comfortable and inviting—perfect for relaxing and spending quality time. The views of the lake were stunning, and we especially loved the peaceful atmosphere and time spent outdoors.Every detail seemed intentional, and it truly made our time together special and stress-free. You can tell the owners care deeply about creating a welcoming experience for their guests.We made such sweet memories here and are already talking about coming back again. Highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a restful, beautiful getaway!

This house is amazing!!!! Every little detail is immaculate. Perfect for large family or couple gathering. We were on the lake for a wedding. We didn’t want to leave the house. The dock was incredible for hanging out and swimming. Lots of toys to use. Loved having the hot tub too. The fire pit would have been lovely but it was to warm during our stay. Would highly recommend this home and we can’t wait to return.

We had a wonderful stay at Legacy Pointe! The home was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. The space was perfect for relaxing, and everything we needed was already provided, which made the stay very convenient.The location was great and close to everything we wanted to do, yet still quiet and peaceful. Check-in and check-out were smooth and easy, and Cindy especially was very responsive and helpful whenever we had a question.Overall, it was a fantastic experience and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable getaway!

I’ve stayed in many high end homes and this is near the top of our list. The property has been designed carefully and is ideal for comfort and entertaining. The house also has All-clad kitchenware for cooking and 4 fridges. It’s an extraordinary property for large groups.

The house is beautiful, was VERY clean and everything worked as it should have (there are 19 of us who have done Thanksgiving together for many years and we’ve seen plenty of places that don’t meet even the basic of standards). We all loved our stay!Finally, Cindy is an extraordinary host and we wish all VRBO hosts would model themselves after her!

Exceptional property, must stay

This was an amazing venue for a womens’ trip. From the billiards, to the hot tub, the dock and the great outdoor lounge areas, and enormous kitchen, we had everything we needed for a memorable and comfortable stay.

My husband and I have rented vacation homes for our family for 22 years. Hands down this home is the best we have ever rented. The kitchen was the most well stocked of any home we have stayed in. We usually take an enclosed cargo trailer on our trips with our own kitchen items because most kitchens are lacking amenities. However, with this home, we didn’t even use any of the items brought from home. Everything in this home is top of the line from the mattresses, sheets, towels, appliances and furniture, landscaping etc. We loved the seclusion and privacy of this property. Everything was in perfect working condition. The property manager, Cindy, was fabulous and quick to respond to any messages sent to her. Words can’t adequately describe the beauty of this home. We look forward to booking again next year.

We chose this property to have a “renewal event” for Youth minister’s. The guest house attached to the property was perfect for our guest speaker. The housing amenities, kitchens, game room, and grounds were perfect for all of our participants. This has to be one of the most beautiful properties I have stayed in. Every single detail down to the blades of grass is cared for and planned. We traveled to Rick-Woods State Park and caverns 30 minutes away on part of our day off from activities.

We had such a wonderful stay at your property! The fact that the host was readily available to answer questions was an added and unexpected bonus. The house was incredibly roomy, which made it so comfortable for everyone to spread out and relax. The décor is beautiful—warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully done. The beds were very comfortable, and we all slept so well.The home was spotless when we arrived, and I really appreciated how clean and well-maintained everything was. The kitchen was stocked with every supply we needed, which made cooking meals together so easy.The views are absolutely breathtaking—truly some of the most gorgeous we’ve ever enjoyed. It was such a treat to wake up and look out each morning.Everything in the house was in perfect working order, from the appliances to the little touches like the fans and air conditioning that kept us cool and comfortable. Having a TV in every room was an added bonus that everyone enjoyed.Thank you for creating such a welcoming, well-prepared space. We loved our time here and would happily return.

We came here for a family reunion (10 adults, 16 kids). The number of bedrooms and the tours of beds (kings and bunk beds) worked well for our group. The dock was great, we docked our boat and jet ski there. Kitchen is fantastic and well stocked. Two living rooms meant lower noise levels with the group being split up. The kids had a blast with the pool table and ping pong table.

This was our second visit to Legacy Pointe. Another amazing experience! The home, property and facilities are first class in every way. This home accommodates large groups as well as any property our family has stayed in. Cindy is a great host and wonderful to work with!

We had a great time at the lake house! Highly recommend the property!! It was beautiful, and well appointed, with lots of little extras provided by the host. The beds were also really comfy, which makes a big difference to any traveller! The dock was lovely, with a shaded second story, and so easy to access from the house.

We had three generations staying together for 5 nights and we loved everything about this home. Cindy was an excellent communicator and all the amenities throughout the home exceeded our expectations. What a wonderful experience from booking to checkout.

My family and I had an unforgettable time at Legacy Pointe for our Annual Family Christmas Retreat. With over 20 of us, ranging in age from 1-month to 87-years, this home was the perfect place to create lasting memories.From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking property and its exclusive feel. Walking into the home, I was immediately impressed by the stunning layout and the floor-to-ceiling windows showcasing spectacular lake views. The home was immaculately clean, and the high-end appliances added a touch of luxury to our stay. It’s easily one of the best rental properties I’ve ever experienced, and my entire family couldn’t stop raving about it.The spacious kitchen gave us plenty of room to cook and bond together as a family, and the cozy yet large living room became our gathering spot for storytelling, movie nights, and relaxing by the automatic fireplace. Speaking of fireplaces, they were a highlight of our stay—no hassle with wood or kindling, just instant warmth and ambiance. The outdoor fire-pit was another family favorite feature!The beautiful guest house was perfect for my grandparents, providing them with a quiet, peaceful space to rest.A big thank you to Cindy, one of the best hosts I’ve ever worked with. In the midst of a back road path, comes the most luxurious and peaceful piece of heaven placed on the water. The amenities were top notch! The host was amazing and always accommodating and available for questions. This place is perfect for a groups of friends or family to gather and retreat from the busy lifestyle. The first thing family members observed when we arrived is that (unlike normal) this house fully lives up to the pictures....it's even better. This is the most well-equipped and designed property we have rented through the years. Cindy is super-responsive! We used all the bedrooms, so Legacy Pointe was a perfect fit for our family gathering.

Our large family makes an annual summer trip to Smith Lake. We have a mix of age groups in our family that requires lots of flexibility for everyone to be comfortable. This is the finest most luxurious and comfortable home we have EVER stayed in on Smith. To the person nothing but rave reviews. We booked for 2025 before leaving!

Fantastic home and great layout for large gatherings. Great amenities for kids and adults. Extremely well stocked with kitchen equipment for cooking. Very nice dock with boat lifts. The host was helpful and responsive at all stages from booking through check-out. I love Smith Lake, and this was a good house.
