Le Courleau Lodge *, charm and character, near the beach of Trez-Hir

We enjoyed a great week at Laurences and Ludovics Lodge. The house is so cosy and well equiped, we all were really sad to leave. We all agree, it was one of the very best houses we ever stayed during vacation. Thanks also for all the wonderful ideas how to spend our time and explore interesting and worth-to-see spots in the area!

We had a wonderful stay in this ideally located and very tastefully decorated house, where we immediately felt at home. This is certainly also due to the friendly and helpful owners Ludovic and Laurence. We received many good tips from them about sightseeing and good restaurants. Also taking into account the weather conditions. We can highly recommend this place.

We really enjoyed our stay in the lodge, which was lovingly designed by Ludovic and Laurence. We were well looked after and had a great base from which to explore the beautiful nature and Finistère region. Great hosts with a sense of something special!

From the first moment of entering, until the check-out we felt completely comfortable in the house of Laurence and Ludovic. The house was designed with so much creativity and love that it is very different from other vacation homes - it is truly a home away from home. From the fully equipped kitchen, to the cozy living area with TV, DVD player and stereo with connectivity for your own audio equipment, the very cute kids rooms and the bedroom with box spring beds - everything feels just right. The icing on the cake is, of course, the relaxation net where our kids spent time every day. The open-plan concept makes the house feel quite large and allows you to look up at the Breton sky from the sofa on the first floor through the large skylights upstairs. If it does rain for a while, which we fortunately didn't experience, the Wi-Fi is fast enough to stream music and videos on your own devices. For the kids, there are lots of interesting picture books (in French, of course, but our kids didn't mind), a bag full of Playmobil, and the equipment for a play store. Laurence even provided us with beach toys. In the garden, there is a cozy area sheltered by grasses and plants for afternoon coffee drinking and a grassy area to set up the clothes dryer. From the house there is a footpath to the beach of Plage du Trez Hir. This leads partly through fields and residents' streets. Within 10 minutes you can reach the beach without having to walk along the road. Of course there are also various parking spaces on the beach, free of charge. The location of the house is ideal for excursions in various directions in western Brittany. There are so many beautiful beach bays that the time alone is not enough. Not to mention the many small towns, sights and hiking opportunities. In the village there is a small bakery and a larger supermarket. Each can be reached by car within 2-3 minutes. We felt very comfortable and welcome in this house. Laurence and Ludovic are very friendly and provided us with interesting tips for excursions and local information. We have recovered very much and think back with pleasure to this beautiful vacation.

The lodge is a perfect, cozy vacation home with everthing you need. Laurence and Ludovic are so nice and welcoming hosts, they gave us tons of insider tips for our stay - we couldn‘t even check half of the list - so we definitly have to come back :)

Well designed and equipped lodge. Very warm and helpful landlords, only 10 minutes by car to lovely beaches and a variety of interesting and nice places. Very relaxing place for families! Thank you for two wonderful weeks.
