Le Bois Plage En Re: house / villa - 7 rooms - 10/12 persons

Wonderful location. A fabulous beach with big waves and warm water just outside the door. A daily market within walking distance. Several good restaurants within walking distance. Beautiful patio with flowering shrubs. The unheated pool was a bit cool and the pool cleaning robot wasn't working, but the kids loved playing in it on all the sunny days. The house was roomy and comfortable. There were a few maintenance issues that needed improvement, which we have notified the owners about. We were surprised to find there were no basic supplies for our use, like dish soap, a few laundry pods, toilet paper, toilet cleaner, or salt and pepper. They don't come in small quantities at the store, so we had to cart home a lot of extra stuff. But all in all, a good spot for a family vacation.

Very handy for town and beach

Ideal location, easy walking distance to the beach and village. The pool was fantastic. The outside space was great but we could have done with more shade, it’s nearly all in full sun all day. The house was well equipped and the layout good for sharing families. There were no plastic dinking cups, plates or bowls for kids which wasn’t ideal.

The villa is in a great location - so close to the beach, beach bar, and the village centre with an excellent daily market.The villa itself was perfect for our group of ten. All the bedrooms have their own patio doors opening onto either a small terrace or the main terrace and have plenty of storage. The bedrooms being split between two separate areas off the main living area works well for two families (master bedroom, double room and bunkroom in one group and a double bedroom and twin room in another). The kitchen is very well equipped, with plenty of storage and a nice big fridge freezer.The pool seemed bigger than it looks in the pictures and we spent many hours in it and around it! It was great to be able to keep the bikes and beach stuff in the secure ‘garage’ and there is plenty of parking on the street for cars.The only downside was that it could do with a bit of maintenance in places, but we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others or book again.

Everything about the villa was superb.

We had a great holiday. The house is very comfortable and well equipped in a great location. We all enjoyed the swimming pool and were thrilled that the children aged 3 and 5 made great progress in learning to swim. The wonderful sandy beach is within easy walking distance

It was just as we were expecting and we were delighted.

THE PROPERTY IS AN IDEAL SIZE AND LOCATION FOR A FAMILY HOLIDAY.

Ideal property for large family groups or 2 families in a superb location close to beach and market. Disappointing that the outdoor lights were not working while we were there.
