LD 435 Twilight Point

This place lives up to its photos. We had a full house of 10 and were very comfortable. The house is super clean and tidy. The furniture and placement was very well thought out and very accommodating. The kitchen was stocked very well for those that like to cook the pots/pans were great with a variety of sizes. Enough dishes, flatware, cookware, etc. Wish they had swept/power washed the outdoor furniture and decks. Lawn needed to be moved. However, we didn’t contact the management company, but I’m sure they would have sent someone to take care of the lawn immediately. We just didn’t want to mess with it. The lake was great! We really enjoyed playing & floating in the water. We brought rope and tied all of our floats together just to keep everyone from floating away too far. We all actually wished we had chosen to play in the lake earlier in the week rather than floating the Guadalupe. The perfect place for us to get together with our 5 adult daughters, 2 grands & Nana. Everyone had a fantastic time!Bring your floats, bring some rope and lots of bug spray. The mosquitos are rather big here in Texas so take precautions. We had citronella candles burning outside as well as bug spray to spray ourselves down. Bring some fly spray and some fly swatters and you’ll be happy you did!The fire pit was perfect with plenty of seating all around. The kids & adults enjoyed making Smores and roasting hotdogs. Loved having all the family together under one roof!

Great communication, house was exactly what was pictured, loved all the text reminders. Did not get to seat out on deck like planned due to the lake problem from weather few days prior. But cute house and cozy and quiet neighborhood! Would definitely stay with this company and at this house again.

If you choose this destination please be aware of the bat problem there. My family contracted rabies from a bat in the back yard. If you take your kids here please keep them away from the bat box they have in the tree in the backyard .They expect everyone to just know everything about bats but if you come from somewhere that doesn't have them as we did please be aware of how dangerous they are cuz the company will not refund your money for a death sentence due to the negligence of the locals assumptions . We will never use this place again. A vacation turned into a nightmare!

We enjoyed our stay. Fishing off the dock in the back by the river, sitting by the firepit and enjoying the river view. Lots of towels, which was great. We cooked dinner in each night in the large kitchen and used the grill one of those times, worked great. Master bedroom was great for my 70 inlaws but my husband and I had a hard time sleeping in the double bed (not a part of bunkbeds) because it had a very thin matress and was a noisy bedframe, a new bed would make this place perfect. My teenage boys did fine with the bunkbeds. Very clean and 2 great bathrooms, too. Easy checkout.

This place was amazing will definitely stay again. Nestled away from traffic. Quiet and beautiful. Not much movement for top water fishing but catfish were biting like crazy. Perfect getaway for our family bbq, stayed warm by the fire. Shower in master bath was amazing.

The location on the river was nice. However, it is a pass through for boat traffic, so allowing the kids to float on a tube was not in the plans. The fire pit and back porch are lovely. The location is close to town and other places to visit. The biggest downside was the house needs a deep clean and bleach in all bathrooms as there is mold growing within sinks and showers, cobwebs in corners of the house, dead critters in windowsills, substantial dust and missing socks under beds and couches, and mice droppings under the sinks. The neighbors are also enjoyable to chat with and very polite.

The property is perfect for a big group. The location on the water and backyard space was a plus. The management company was responsive when needed. The place could have had hand soap in the kitchen and bathroom areas and cleaner left to clean counters as needed. Small touches like coffee and other staple supplies would have been a nicety, however, it was documented on the stuff that you needed to bring. Overall good place!

It was a little hard to fish in the evening but other than that everything was great.

Over all the stay was nice, the location is great and the amount of towels was awesome.

Great outdoor area right on lake dunlap with water access. Lots of tree coverage that helps provide shade. Decently stocked with dishes, silverware, pots, pans, floatation toys, etc. Great water pressure in master shower. We enjoyed the rental!

Our son was marrying his long time girlfriend, a true celebration. My wife and i had number 3 son and only/ youngest daughter (#4) and their spouses. No 1 son and his wife and mom- in- law and no2 son and imminent wife joined us for pizza at the house. The deck was fabulous with gorgeous view with plenty of space. House was well appointed and tasteful decorations and furniture.Not a full 5 on description because while listing stated pet friendly there was a one dog limit (in the small print” and there is no fence preventing escape to the road or access to the lake.Highly recommended

We had a very fun and relaxing getaway with our family for thanksgiving. There was plenty of room, it was clean, and we enjoyed the backyard with games, beautiful view of the lake and the kids went fishing. It was also close to restaurants, shopping, etc. forkidd.
