LD 247 Waters Edge at Lake Dunlap

We super enjoyed our time at the property!! The lake was enjoyable, the spacious property made it so accommodating for our large group. Kitchen space was great for cooking and also the outdoor grill and fire pit was great for s’mores! Very quiet area! We definitely would like to come back again!

We enjoyed our stay with a few exceptions. On the arrival day our email notification stated that we had access to a gas grill but there was no guarantee of adequate propane in the tank. That being said on a 3 night stay we absolutely planned to use the grill. We arrived and there were 3 empty propane tanks sitting by the grill. If there are 3 tanks why isn't one always full??? It was so frustrating to arrive and then have to leave to fill a propane tank. Then get back and discover that there is no lighter to light the grill or fire pit. We had to then make a second trip. In addition, to demand that AC go no lower than 78 is unrealistic and wifi was not reliable. Other than these items, we thoroughly enjoyed being lakefront and the house had a unique layout which was fun for all. The back porch was also a plus.

Great place and setup.

House was great! We had everything we needed and more. I felt like someone with a love of art built or remodeled this home. Beautiful view right on the lake/river and very close to everything we needed.

The propane firepit was great for making smores and the 2 kayaks, ladder golf and cornhole were enjoyed by all. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. It even had a crockpot for our New Year's Day chili. The only negative I could think of is the water pressure in the main bath shower. Other than that, this place is wonderful and I highly recommend.

We enjoyed our family dinner outside on the deck and really enjoyed the fire pit! It took us awhile to figure out the stove top, but we got it! Beds were comfortable but needed hotter water in the master shower. Being right on the water was nice. The laundry room could use some cleaning but over all experience family had a great time. The front piece of yard was great for our two little dogs. We would stay here again.

Peaceful setting. Dogs allowed. Four bedrooms and four bathrooms. Perfect for us!

The ginormous kitchen and den area were a huge plus. We loved using the kayaks and having direct access to the river was wonderful. The grassed and fenced-in side yard was wonderful when we took our two dachshunds out to handle their business. All of the grandkids loved playing games on the huge lighted back porch at night. The home was very close to many restaurants etc. so a drive anywhere was pretty quick. Thank you for providing a safe place for our family to make lasting memories!

This is a great place right on the water.

We were in town for a wedding and property worked great. We had beautiful weather so had morning coffee on deck that viewed the lake. Had a grill out one evening. Was a great location and lot of fun. We could figure out how to get two of the TVs to work. Couldnt find a signal but we didn’t need so didn’t contact the host. Might want to ask for instructions. It may be we just couldn’t figure it out but the other two TVs worked fine.

The house was roomy and comfortable. Provisions were great. Location was central to everything fun to do in the area. We really enjoyed playing on the lake!

We had a few maintenance issues when we arrived but the mgmt was quick to respond and get everything fixed. We would definitely stay there again!
