Lazy River - Relaxing Accommodations for 6 on Blanco River

We enjoyed our stay! Nice place. We loved the location & the beautiful place! We could not get the tv working, not sure if there’s a missing remote or what. We were ok without it. King bed was very firm! Overall, we will stay again hopefully when it warms up!!

Beautiful house and location!

The backyard was awesome! It was close to shops and restaurants and Wimberly is lovely.

We decided to stay in Wimberley to celebrate one of my daughters' 32nd birthday. 4 of us stayed at Lazy River and we had a couple visit during the day one day. The house was very clean and spacious and fit our needs perfectly. Our chek-in day we met up in Wimberely for lunch then went to Seventh Son vineyards for wine tasting. We checked in and went down to the river to cool off. It was only ankle deep at the time of our visit but nice to sit on rocks and cool off. We went back to Wimberley for shopping our second day then again returned to the river to cool off. On our departure day we checked out and went to Blue Hole Park. The house seemed well equipped but we mostly used Door Dash for meals. We enjoyed watching the deer move through the yard each evening and also spotted an armadillo. Next door neighbors houses are close by but we didnt see or hear anyone. Very peaceful. Thank you sharing your little bit of paradise with us.

Overall great place, plenty of room, good location, river access, and a beautiful view. My only suggestion would be a bit more detail in cleaning the back porch and fixing the screens so that the space can be used.

Enjoyed our stay.

The kitchen and living area were newly remodeled and beautiful. The bedrooms were spacious and good mattresses. Since there was no closet in the back bedroom a couple of hooks on the wall would be helpful. Also in other bedrooms a small chair or bench would be nice to have a place to put your shoes on. Also I suggest that you bring water and ice for your stay. We really enjoyed our stay. Downtown Wimberly is so quaint and friendly. I recommend this place

Relaxing river view with grazing deer.

House was nice, family had a great time and enjoyed the weekend like every year we come out and enjoy easter kids had fun in water and in town as well.

Was given a door code to get in the door to the cabin and it did not work. I tried it several times and it still did did not work. The wifi code that I was given also did not work. I had to call three different times to talk to someone to get help with these issues and nobody helped me.Was charged the full amount of 482 even though I didn't even step foot in the cabin and supervisor refused to refund my money.Will never stay here again. What a terrible experience!I cal

The setting is beautiful with abundant deer, squirrels and birds. Beds are very comfortable. Kitchen well appointed but ice maker did not work properly. Enjoyed the stay.

Everything was good except the second bedroom had stained bedding. The comforter and extra blanket were stained.

Loved the layout of the house and porch

This is a cute property with plenty of space indoors and out. My kids enjoyed the river and rope swing. The screened in porch was nice but needs cleaning. Kitchen has tons of storage and supplies. Worked well for our mini spring break getaway!

We loved our time. The house is great and the views of the river from the screened in porch were fabulous.

Screened in porch was very nice. living room & kichen area very nice & furnished very well. Furnishings in bedrooms could be better.Need chair to sit in to put shoes on at least. No closet in master bedroom.The house was a good location ,served our purpose as we were there visiting from Arizona to see family in San Marcos & Austin.

We had a great time. Very relaxing and quiet. Water is low, we went to the Cypress Fall swimming hole. Had a great time.

Great get away! This house was spacious and had everything we needed. We enjoyed watching the deer come up at night and the lightning bugs from the screened in porch!

This was our second summer at the Lazy River. We absolutely love the simple house and the river access! Such a hidden getaway but close and convenient to run into town. We basically lived on the screened in porch. However, the porch was filthy when we arrived. My husband and I swept and wiped layers of dirt and grime off the surfaces. It needs a good power wash and deep clean. That won’t deter us from staying here again but something to note.

This was a nice spot to get away and enjoy a girls’ weekend! The house was nice and located on the river. It was also close to town!
