We are a group of women who love to quilt, so we arrange a retreat that we can get together and sew. This house is perfect for our group, the open concept is perfect so we can all be together and have a great time.

Enjoyed our time

- [ ] Dish washer - four of us couldn’t figure out how to work it- [ ] Lamps, couple didn’t work- [ ] Floors, felt like there was a film on it. I bought slippers so I could walk on it.- [ ] Shower valves, all three showers were very hard to turn- [ ] Hot water, periodically there was no hot water in the kitchen- [ ] Ac, we had a problem, but manager sent a tech who resolved it- [ ] Sofa ripped dirty, we draped with beach towels, comfortable, and roomy- [ ] Clocks were not set when daylight savings happened before we checked in- [ ] Deferred maintenance, needs a nice new refreshing paint job inside, baseboards, and lots of wall scuffs noticed- [ ] Hangers - there weren’t any hangers, but we got immediate response from manager who provided an abundance- [ ] Hair in the shower- [ ] Icemaker - refrigerator built in didn’t work so external one provided. Was dirty, we bought our own ice.- [ ] Location very good neighborhood, back up to the beautiful mountains.- [ ] Close to a big community park- [ ] Large enough space for four of us. Comfortable.- [ ] Management very responsive to our issues- [ ] Backyard patio enjoyable for early morning yoga- [ ] Easy access to garage

We really enjoyed our stay in this house. It was very quiet, spacious, very comfortable. We'd stay again for sure. One on the beds in the 2 bed room squeaked but we just used the other one. The ice machine didnt work for us either but could have been user error. These things did not keep us from having a great time during our stay.

The house is in a nice, neat neighborhood. Not, fancy, but very close to biking and walking trails with a lovely mountain view. The house itself was a bit worn, the paint needs to be cleaned up and the furniture was adequate but tired. The bed in the primary was very hard and squeaked with the slightest movement. The pillows were just awful. With a few upgrades, this house would be a big winner. The coffee maker worked well, the ice maker in the frig seemed broken and the little replacement worked very poorly. The kitchen was well equipped for the most part. The pool is very small and in the fenced front yard. Check was well communicated and very easy.

The outdoor furniture was in deplorable condition with cushions being filthy and torn. In addition the furniture webbing was torn and loose in several places. We purchased cloth tarps to lay over the furniture so we could sit on them. The lock pad to the house stopped working as the batteries died. I contacted the host and did not hear back from him for over an hour. During that time we were able to secure entry through an unlocked window, and purchased batteries to fix the lock.

Rapid response to questions. Allowed delayed checkout as no one was checking in that day and our flight was delayed. We loved or vacation. Would suggest the cleaning company had scheduled cleaning for ie: dishwasher and items needing periodic servicing. It was obvious dishwasher drain strainer had never been cleaned. The washer was not cleaning until we cleaned strainer.

Nice home and helpful host

Everything with the house and amenities were very good. The external ice maker has some issues - lots of funny noises. We had to unplug a few times. Tankless water heater takes time to get hot water. Fantastic layout of kitchen and living room for the 6 of us.Bonus was being a few blocks from hiking trails.

The house was nice in a questionable part of La Quinta Cove. The poor rating is based on the pricing as we were quoted one price as the final quote but were charged 300 more blaming VRBO on hidden fees and would not make things right. I would not rent it again!

At first the cleanliness was lacking and very few towels & no extra blankets, but the manager was very responsive. Mattresses of all beds are extremely creaky, but comfortable.Pool and hot tub, once heated were DIVINE!

House was clean and had everything we needed. Info for checking in and out was clear and easy. Hot tub and pool was nice! I would stay at this place again

Everything was in good condition and worked without problems. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. I had trouble accessing the digital welcome guide but that might have been me and not the guide. Couldn't beat the location! Perfect for everywhere we were trying to go.

Very nice property and neighborhood. Loved the pool.

Beautiful house, nice view of the mountains, the family had fun in the pool. Hope to return next summer.

Upon arrival things looked in order however the cleanliness

The Lavish was a pleasant and clean home. We enjoyed our time there. We did not park in the garage because there was no way to open the garage door from the outside, but that wasn't really a big deal. We did not enjoy smelling the neighbor's marijuana.

When we arrived, the house had not been cleaned. I contacted the owner via text, who apologized for the failure and directed us to a nearby identical house for our four days stay. Everyone in our four-man group loved the setup and agreed four couples could enjoy staying in the property. Everything was as advertised in the vbro listing, and I would book it again for a future trip.

We really enjoyed our stay. Having the 3 king beds was a real plus!We used the hot tub and heated the pool - having that for the kids was great.On the downside, the icemaker in the refrigerator didn't work, and the tv selection is limited - we had to use a laptop connection to watch the bowl games.

We had a wonderful time visiting the greater La Quinta area. It was our first time, so we didn't quite know what to expect. The home is situated in a cute community, and nearly backs against the majestic mountain range. Given there was a group of us, we were fortunate for the garage access, as we had two cars. While the community felt safe, I hoped for a deadbolt or latch to secure the home, especially since the front yard hold the swimming pool, and I had concerns about our little ones finding their way outside at night. The home itself is well kept, and everything felt clean. The beds were a little squeaky, but we got used to it quickly. Additional details about the house that I'll nitpick: one of the barstools along the kitchen island was broken, and part of the couch in the living room was caved in by a previous user. Neither of these things bothered us, but worth addressing by the owner. Lastly, we could not get the pool heater to work using the iPad that was provided. When I contacted the host, they were quick to respond, but noted that folks usually request the pool to be heated in advance -- I was not aware of that, so we ultimately did not use the pool at all. In total, the home was as-listed and a quality stay. Very grateful for the opportunity to be welcomed!
