Absolutely fabulous, like having our own wee house!!. Daphna a friendly greeting on arrival, was initially a bit nervous about the closeness of the house, but was quiet, private, absolute bliss. Only things I could fault was internet connection seemed to cut in & out- but who needs to be on the internet while discovering Nelson!, and could do with a couple ice bricks in freezer for picnics. Highly recommended, Richmond has everything you need and a great base to explore from.

Lovely studio apartment on homeowner property. Parking is off-street. Such a comfortable place to relax after a day of driving or sight seeing, with well manicured gardens as the view out your windows. Very easy to communicate with owner. Highly recommend this for your next holiday!

Place was clean and tidy. Bed was great, very comfortable. Great handy situation with shops etc a short drive away. Owner responded quickly to questions. Would recommend.

Lovely small unit that has everything you need. Exceptionally clean and looked after. Although it is on the owners property it has its own entrance and is very private. The gardens are gorgeous as is the pool area. Yes, I would book it again.

It is a lovely and comfy compact studio. I couldn't find towels for the pool as I was keen for a swim. Apart from that, I would stay again as location suited us. Daphna was easy to communicate with. Thank you.

We had a lovely stay at Lavender Studio. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The host was very welcoming and great to deal with.

Good location for shopping in Richmond Property grounds are very good, bach was vary clean and well appointed.

We enjoyed the quiet location and pleasant garden outlook. Thankfully a washing machine and somewhere to dry clothes after several days on the road.It also an easy stroll to the main Richmond shops with some great cafes, restaurants and other shops. (I found the ladies at the Health & Herbs shop very helpful).Thanks to Daphna for making this space available

I had a lovely stay, the area around the house is beautiful, with all the citrus trees, and the pool in the back ground. The apartment where I stayed was bigger than I anticipated. The owner was absolutely wonderful. Close to the center of town and easy to get to. I would highly recommend , and will go back here for another stay in future.

This little place is such a gorgeous retreat fora weekend away in Nelson. It was so neat, clean and tidy, and had everything that we needed for a few days. The shower pressure is fantastic!The garden is beautiful and the pool is really luxurious. It is very handy to shops, restaurants and tomato wonderful antique shop. We are looking forward to coming back again. 5 star service!

A handy place to stay to explore the Nelson area.

Property well equipped, spacious amongst lovely grounds. Hosts went out of their way to overcome Statyz horrendous handling of the booking.We booked through Stayz and paid deposit via Visa card months in advance.Once in NZ we were constantly on the road - often without on-line contact. We eventually received Stayz request to make our final payment and spent 3 unsuccessful hours trying to do so. We had a strong signal and Stayz system was the problem.Can't remember exactly when/how but the lovely host manged to get in contact and agreed settlement could be made on arrival. She indicated the property's location - which we could not find on arrival. Stayz documentation didn't even have the name of the property - let alone the address.We phoned Sydney and the agent advised that the address wouldn't be provided without final payment (which we accepted). We explained Stayz inability to process our previous payment attempt but the agent showed no interest.The agent said he would connect us to the Stayz phone payment service. 30 mins later there was still no answer so we hang up.We knew the general location of the individual unit, and was forced to door-knock the neighborhood (it had no signage). The host was horrified over Stayz treatment.The agent later txt us several times to finally advise he would send address.but our phone was still waiting to make payment. No address received by phone. txt or email5 VALUABLE HOLIDAY HOURS WASTED.ABSOLUTELY HOPELESS ! ! ! !

Highly recommended place to stay if you are in Nelson! Daphne was an amazing host, easy check in, lovely little studio she has providing us a serene and peaceful abode. Not forgetting to mention the swimming pool is so lovely! Will upload my journey on Youtube channel: lynofuro

We enjoyed the convenience and garden setting at Daphne’s place. She was very attentive to our needs. I especially liked having my morning coffee in the little outside area watching the birds. As others have noted it’s a quick walk to the neighborhood pub and close to shopping.

Daphna provided a full apartment with lots of space, a full kitchen, laundry & drying rack, sitting area and nice outdoor patio. The windows overlooked an amazing garden, orchard and pool! Appreciate the extras she provided.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Parking was off street, kitchen was fully equipped, bed comfy and the private patio was lovely for morning coffee. We even made use of the pool!The host was so nice and the location is in a very nice neighborhood. Easy to get anywhere in Richmond or Nelson. Highly recommend this rental.

Very close to where our friends lived. Bed shower heater all good. Private. Outer area by the entry great especially in the wet days we had. A blind on the other kitchen window would be good. Overall nice and comfortable.
