Stayed Jun 26, 2019Our electricity was not working — property management didn’t send maintenance to our room when electricity was out for 18 hours ( no air conditioning, no refrigerator box hot shower no cell phone charger—-). We were told all the area power was out— so I walked out to check for myself— in fact, all the power was fine except our room... Finally- I think property management must get commission if they book reservations for certain restaurants- we specifically requested Dimitri’s. Property management told me they were totally booked. I suspected this was false, the property management wasn’t being honest so I called myself— there were several tables available.

Stayed Oct 13, 2018We would never book this apartment again. We were pretty disappointed upon arrival as the pictures are taken from very good angles. The apartment might be located in Oia just below the 3 domes but the proximity looks rather run down and dirty- and we know the difference between run down and authentic. We also like animals in general but the high amount of stray cats made it impossible to leave the apartment door open as they were just coming in. The flowerpot right in front of the pool and the space next to it were used as cat toilet. Poo and urine stench were so bad, sitting on the tiny terrace or at front of the pool were not possible. Also the sight of feces wasn't exactly screaming holiday feeling- especially for the price. We were aware it's a cave home but the ventilation inside was very bad. We had a headache after every night, ventilation holes were clogged with dust and dirt. We booked for 4 nights but left after 2 (with no refund or offer for a discount on the 2 days) because staying any longer would have totally ruined the holidays for us. Also the tiny sitting space is just where all the tourists pass by, so be aware you have no privacy. Overall totally overpriced, a nice looking bedroom doesn't make up for all the negative aspects. You can find a much nicer hotel or apartment for less money in better locations on the island as we really loved the boutique hotel we stayed in for the other nights.

Stayed Apr 22, 2018Excellent stay at lava caves. The communication from Katerina was first class. Nothing was to much trouble. The cave was ideal for a couple, everything catered for. Views from here were stunning. We stayed 3 nights and hardly went out which was all we wanted to do. Totally relaxing place to stay. We will visit again!!!

Stayed Nov 4, 2017From the city, to the location/view, to the service of the owner/staff this place exceeded all expectations! When others are coming to ur area to get pictures of the ocean, cliffs & sunsets u know you’ve found the spot to be. We were met by a bell boy who took our bags & us to our “home” & Caterina who met us there to greet/orient us, both absolutely necessary as both the way & the hone required assistance to understand. Let me explain. The location though so very worth it is a bit hard to find the first time & bring appropriate shoes...no heels! Steps are plentiful & steep at times. The home quaint, stocked & perfect, yet still needing some brief instructions on where/ how to use things to have ur perfect stay. Oia is truly a slice of heaven, beautiful in every way. People so friendly, food yummy & taverns/wineries fun. This home & trip is worth every penny! Thank u Katherina & Ladis for making our stay so perfect.

Stayed Oct 30, 2017This is a once in a lifetime experience to stay in a real cave house. The home is beautiful and high end and they think of everything. The service is amazing. They are very responsive to anything you need. Highly recommend! Just a note: this is a short walk down the hill with steep stairs so it may be difficult for older people or small children.

Stayed May 20, 2017What a stunning view. What you see in the pictures is exactly what you get. Loved the hot tub. The service is top notch, they will arrange everything for you. Very steep steps to get up and down from the main part of Oia so keep that in mind, but the location is very central. We loved it!

Stayed Jun 8, 2016We had a wonderful time in this incredible unit which has beautiful views, a lovely pool, and all the items needed plus a stocked fridge and many snacks to make for a very comfortable stay. We hope to be able to return to this place again! Thank you for such a warm welcome and making the transfers easy too!
