Summary:

Charming single story beach cottage on a fully-fenced corner lot, steps to town. MCA#50611

The Space:

Step into quiet luxury to experience peace among the trees at Laurel Beach Club. Situated on a fully-fenced corner lot, this adorable single-story two-bedroom, 1-½ bath Manzanita cottage is just a block from main street Laneda Avenue and a short stroll to the beach.

Enter through the quaint yet upscale kitchen area with modern open shelving, stylish black granite countertops, and stainless steel appliances. Take in the unique layout perfect for 1 or 2 couples looking to spend time together in a perfectly soothing setting. Fully outfitted with all you need for a beach getaway, you’ll find it hard to say goodbye at the end of your stay.

The small wood-burning stove in the living room provides warmth and ambiance on gloomy days. Select one of the many exciting books in the home, brew coffee or tea, and sink into the sofa for a while. When the sun appears, open the wooden French doors throughout the house and let the ocean breeze flow through. With a warm, inviting mixture of timeless old-world textures and sleek modern finishes, you can’t help but feel pampered in this coastal oasis. The reclaimed maple wood floors from the local high school gym have many stories to tell… Make your memories with this unique piece of local history underfoot.

Dine in style at the long wooden table that seats up to 6 when you’re not planning a meal at one of the local restaurants. A small acrylic bar cart with an elegant Bohemian crystal decanter, matching glasses, a stainless steel champagne-chilling bucket, and a cocktail shaker add to the appeal of this room. Featuring unique pieces of original artwork by local artist J. Scott Wilson lovingly mounted in almost every room. You will feel genuinely immersed in local Oregon Coast culture while you sip your favorite cocktail.

The massive, uncluttered primary bedroom addition with a king-sized bed was well-designed and carefully furnished to calm guests, boasting faux-fur touches, posh wool throw rugs, and woven throws. The guest bedroom down the hall is cozy, with a comfortable queen-sized bed and a vast Samsung flat-screen TV.

Experience the spa-like atmosphere with soft organic cotton bath robes and a shingled outbuilding set up as a tranquil spin cycle space with a peloton bike and its little covered porch. Meditate to the soothing sound of raindrops dripping from the bamboo, or use one of the provided yoga mats to stretch out those limbs.

Outside, the expansive grounds with two gas fire pits and plenty of comfortable seating invite you to sit and listen to the birds chirping while you soak up some fresh salt air. Explore the many quaint paths through native plants and landscaping with solar-powered lighting to help guide you even after dark.

Great location for walking to shops, coffee, dining. Close walking distance to beach. House is super comfortable and we had everything we needed. Especially enjoyed the outdoor decks and yoga house.

Lots of room and open space inside. Property fully fenced which really makes it feel really private even though in town. Also great outdoor space surrounding the house. Up to date furnishings and appliances, and one of the cleanest places we have ever stayed. Can walk to anyplace in town in a couple minutes. Really can't go wrong staying here.

This is a wonderful property for a couple and/or a couple with kids. (It would also suit two couples as long as nobody minds sharing a shower, since the second bath is only a half-bath.) It's very clean, very nicely appointed, has comfortable bedding and linens, and offers plenty of space to spread out. We were there in the dead of winter and it rained almost the whole time, which we loved because we went there to read and relax by the fire. But in warmer/dryer weather we would have taken advantage of the property's outside spaces too. Just a block from the grocery store and a short walk to Manzanita's main drag as well as the beach. We would definitely stay here again.

Spotless, well-appointed, comfortable home, blocks from town. Brief issues with the router & the tv were frustrating. We loved being able to walk into town, or down to the beach, then come back to relax, rest, or watch football, then go back into town for dinner. It's all so convenient. The home is so well-stocked, you can def cook meals there. Lots of outdoor seating areas. We would stay here again.

We are bookmarking this house for future stays in Manzanita. The location was absolutely perfect. Just around the corner from town which made it so easy to grab coffee or lunch. The layout of this house was awesome. I really appreciated the thoughtful decorations that made this place feel like home for us. It was generously stocked with dishes, towels, and everything we needed to easily transition from home to beach house. Thank you again for such a wonderful, and comfortable stay!

We had never been to Manzanita, but this lovely oasis was a refreshing change from the more touristy areas of the coast. The property is close to the main strip, the beach, and a well stocked grocery store is just around the corner. Despite being so close to everything, it is very private and quiet with plants and flowers galore in the gorgeous fenced yard. There are not one, but 2 gas fire pits to lounge around and a wrap around porch to spread out on. The master suite feels like a high end spa. The secondary bedroom is also quite nice and there is a large comfy couch and a foldout bed if you need more space. Bedding is very comfortable. The house is a lot roomier than it appears in the photos and has a full kitchen and laundry which make it feel very homey. There are even some puzzles and games to use if you have any downtime to fill. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again!

I am six feet tall and my wife is five foot two. I am recovering.from a major back surgery. Getting up and down out of living room furniture and master bed was very painful. It was even difficult for my wife.

Wonderful home and location. Everything you could need was provided! Beautiful grounds, patios and fire pits. Our only complaint was the terrible shower pressure, very disappointing for such a lovely home.
