Laughing Logs: Mountain Cabin with Hot Tub, Games, & Stunning Views

Beautiful views and a beautiful house. House had everything we needed and more. Unfortunately our trip was cut short due to weather. The house is up a steep dirt road.

We had an absolutely amazing time at Laughing Logs with our family. We have 3 teenagers and this property offered so much to do as a family. The property was beautiful and the host company was very easy to work with and helpful. We will be back and highly recommend the cabin!

This house was perfect for us with two separate living areas one upstairs one downstairs amazing views from living room on third floor! Hot tub, great arcade room fire pit for s’mores and very clean. Had everything we needed. Thank you!!!

We enjoyed our stay at Laughing Logs for the 2025 Bigfoot Festival. Everything was great, would recommend 10/10.

Overall this was a very nice property. Views were amazing and the game room was much fun. With a little exterior weeding and clean up I would’ve given 4.5-5 stars.

The property was better than expected. The house was set up with everything we needed. When we had questions we got quick and polite responses from yonder.

The view from Laughing Logs was beautiful! So nice to enjoy the night sky from the hot tub. My teenagers really enjoyed the pool table, game shed, and even worked out on the bike in the yoga shed. It was so nice to have multiple places to relax throughout the house. When we first got the house, I reached out about the sliding doors not working properly. We were finally able to get one to work, but the other slider that lead to the deck and the beautiful view never worked for us. We could not open that door so that was a bit of a bummer and there was no resolution from the maintenance team. I was also hoping to take a nice bath in the jetted tub but that was out of order and looked to be that way for at least a few months now. The house definitely needed a few things addressed that I think if the owner stayed for a week or so, they would see them as well. All in all, I really enjoyed the property. The décor and space was lovely and just what I was looking for this mountain trip. Now only if I could have gotten myself up for a sunrise!

Relaxing is the key word. Great view and quiet. The pool table and the classic video game shed a definate plus to entertain the whole family.

So glad we found this beautiful property. Nested in the hills of the NC Mountains close to Lake James. We had a large family and the house didn’t disappoint. The views are spectacular, something for all ages and the little touches are so thoughtful. Game room and pool table were a hit daily and our pups enjoyed themselves too. We will be back!

Top tier rental all the way! Communications were excellent, property was clean and well appointed for all of our needs, linens were plush and comfortable. Location was secluded and quiet. Will definitely recommend and stay again if we can.

This was one of the most fabulous places that I’ve ever stayed. There is an amazing view . They have thought of everything to make this a comfortable stay and to make sure you are at home. Anything that you would need, they have thought of it. . I loved it because it was up in the mountains, but not too far away from everything. The decorating is gorgeous the hot tub made it that much better. Such an adorable place. I will be back again. The flowers and landscaping were gorgeous. You could spend all day watching the birds and butterflies. Loved it!!!

Great cabin that was clean

Laughing Logs is absolutely amazing!!! The pictures do not do it justice. The house has so many things to do and the room and accommodations are the best. We enjoyed every minute of our vacation together. The view is breathless!!! I will absolutely book this house again. From the communication to check in it was great. Love the location.

We enjoyed our stay! Was a little bummed the jetted tub was out of order but other than that, PERFECT!

Laughing Logs is beautiful, well equipped house. Our family enjoyed all the amenities. Love that it is private, yet not far from town. Communication with management was stellar. Highly recommend!

This was a great stay for my husband and I. Way more room than the two of us needed but we utilized all amenities and really enjoyed the quietness and nature. It was a very relaxing vacation for us! Thanks so much.

This house was excellent. It was secluded and private but still very close to the town center. There was hiking trails and plenty of space for my dogs to explore. The house is set up so thoughtfully. There's games, pool tables, a hot tub, breathtaking views. It was such a nice and relaxing stay. We will definitely be back!
