Laslie lake house

We loved our stay at the Laslie lake house. The location was perfectly situated close to the boat rental companies and the Bridgewater Plaza for shopping, restaurants and mini-golf. The waterfront location made it easy for the kids to play in the lake while we watched from the deck or dock. The well stocked kitchen had everything needed to cook for a family of five and the grocery store is only a 4 minute drive for the items we forgot to bring.The available kayaks also made it easy for the kids to exercise some independence.We rented a wave runner and boat from Parrot Cove and rode them back to the house dock to use for the day - it couldn't have been a better situation.The bedrooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. Communication with Dan was so easy as he made sure we had everything we need to have a wonderful vacation. Will definitely rent here again the next time we visit Smith Mountain Lake.

SML is a Great Lake and the house is located right on the water and provides great entertainment all week long. The house is beautiful and offers everything you need. The owner/host was very responsive and insightful about the area. We will be back and won’t hesitate to book this place again. Great memories all around!!!! SML all day!!

My family's been coming 2 SML for the last 3 years. When I saw this lakehouse pop up on VRBO, I knew that I wanted 2 stay there 4 Pirate's Day Wkend. When I sent the link 2 my adult kids, they were like oh nice BUT, when we got 2 the house, the excitement really kicked in. Everyone was chattering Oh my gosh.. I love this...oh, look at that..this is so neat..look, a Keurig & an ice machine..oh, they thought of EVERYTHING etc... The pictures on VRBO don't do the house justice. From the auto-shades, 2 the 2-sided windows, 2 the bar height table w/the built in fire pit, 2 the bidet, 2 the luxurious beds, 2 the kayaks, 2 the playroom packed w/books & toys for the kids, etc...The toys were new 2 the kids so they were in heaven! The cabinets were stocked w/dishes & amenities. From pots & pans 2 the Reynold's Wrap, they thought of everything! I wish we'd had the opportunity to take the kayaks out but, we just ran out of time. On Saturday it rained until 1:30 but, they had a cabinet full of games. We had a good time playing Charades until the rains let up.. I'm telling U, this place is not just a vacation house, it's a home! All that aside, the most important thing was the hospitality from our host, Dan! Dan helped in making my brothers 57th birthday a success & I can't thank him enough. I had to reach out 2 Dan during the trip & Dan responded promptly! I hope the Laslie lakehouse will be available next year b/c my family has already expressed their desire 2 come back HERE!

We loved being right on the water! House was big and spacious! Daniel was wonderful in helping with anything we needed.
