This is a fantastic spot tucked away in the trees, easily accessible from the Village and right at a bus stop if you don't want to walk. However, Van Life, be prepared for only one over-height parking spot right out front. If you need to park a van or big truck, head over to the underground lot down the street underneath the Bear Lodge. That garage accommodates vehicles up to 12’ tall (and up to 20’ long). It costs 32 for overnight parking every 24 hours. So, it’s best to drive a small car, as there’s a nice included underground lot just steps away from this unit. One other major thing to note is that we place blame on the Architect and Builder, not the homeowner. What were they thinking if at all? The floor plan resembles a remodeled old “laneway house” from the 1800s or something? The steep steps in the hallway mixed with a bland paint job, and the all the new 6500K BRIGHT WHITE lighting that won't dim like the rest of the house in the hallways make it quite sketchy to access the washroom without going blind and fall. And don’t even get me started on the access to the mud room as that’s nearly impossible to use or access gear from behind the front door!Despite these issues, this is still a great spot with a great location and comfortable rooms. Just make sure to rewash all the bedding and towels there, unless you’re addicted to the fresh scent beads sold nowadays. Dryer sheets smell like a urinal cake!!
