Stayed Jan 11, 2024Clean, cute and tidy home. Everything exactly as stated in the listing description. Good communication from host. The wi-fi and streaming TV worked great. The coffee bar was a real highlight! Comfy beds, clean sheets, lots of blankets and pillows. Furnace worked great and that's good thing because we had lots of snow and record lows below zero. The only cons (and I'm nit picking here) was that clothes storage in two of the bedrooms was sparse and the downstairs water pressure was a bit on the low side. Other than that we had a great time and it was the perfect location for my daughter's wedding just 1/2 mile away.

Stayed Oct 10, 2025The property was cute, clean and worked very well for our visit. Not sure we could have fit 4 vehicles with suv's and pickups but made it work. Very easy to find and close access to major roads.

Stayed Apr 2, 2025We like having our own space to spread out with our kids when we are in KC visiting family and this was perfect! It was a great location, easy to get in and out, and decorated so cute. We loved the two living room areas and the fire pit area was a great touch. The beds were super comfortable! The only areas of improvement would be that it didn’t seem the floors were cleaned very well beforehand and it would have been nice to have a drying rack since our family of five went through the cutlery quickly and did a lot of handwashing. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely be back!

Stayed Nov 8, 2024We needed a place to stay with our family and my parents for a wedding we had in the KC area and this home fit our needs perfectly! The location was nice and the space in the home was great, with two separate living rooms, which allowed for my kids to have plenty of space to play. The bedrooms accommodated us well and the coffee bar with fun to have! The house felt very clean, but our one complaint in that department was that the floor must not have been all that clean since our white socks all ended up pretty dark after not too long. It also would have been nice to have a box of tissues somewhere in the house and maybe an extra roll or two of toilet paper (we almost ran out, but didn’t, thankfully, ha!). We couldn’t find any hot pads or wash cloths in the kitchen, though the bathroom was well stocked with wash cloths so we just used a bathroom cloth to wipe down counters. Those are all very menial things, though, and it truly was a great place for us to stay. Would definitely stay again!

Stayed Nov 9, 2023We were 3 couples getting together from different places. The house was perfect for 3 couples. The kitchen was pretty well equipped with things to cook: a range of pots and pans and a set of knives, and utensils. There was a rack of spices, but if you want to cook something specific you might want to bring your own. Two of the bedrooms are on the street side and close to the street; if you’re a light sleeper you might want earplugs. It’s nice having an upstairs and downstairs living area with TVs if you want to do different things. The keypad is located by the back door on the basement level, but it’s easier to bring things in through the front door as there are less stairs to negotiate there. It’s convenient to the highway and also close to IKEA and some shopping areas. We recommend visiting the National WWI Museum. I’m not a big history buff, but I really enjoyed the museum and the tower of the memorial has great views of KC.
