Large Oceanfront House with Hot Tub!

Absolutely gorgeous property and wonderful hosts.

The house was adequate. On a positive note-1) the beds were very comfortable. 2)We liked the separate dining room and the table was very functional. 3)The bathrooms were a good size and we appreciated that there were tubs provided. 4) yard was goodOn the downside there were several deficiencies-1) the deck was VERY SLIPPERY. Several falls on this deck. There should be something applied to prevent slipping. The wood is rotten.2) not enough supplies in the kitchen. While there were lots of random things like bread maker, fondue pots, etc, there was only one serving platter that could be used. 3) there needs to be paper towels, and more dish towels. It is very inconvenient to have only one or two dish towels. 4) the oven is too small and it didn’t work at first because there was something wrong with the door. We figured it out eventually. 5) there should be a ‘Guest Instruction’ book to go over the smoke detectors, etc. we didn’t know how to turn it off after a bit of smoke on the stove, which resulted in a visit from the fire department. Should also have instructions on what to do with garbage, etc.6) the closet door in the downstairs hallway is off the rails.7) we couldn’t adjust the heat up or down which was very inconvenient. At times it was quite cold, which we didn’t enjoy.8) the two largest bedrooms were very loud all night with the sound of the furnace.

Great spot, accommodated a large family and host was accommodating.

The house is very roomy, has a well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, and a spectacular view. The deck is huge with a hot tub which was a great place to unwind and enjoy the view. The wifi was great and TV had a variety of streaming options. Location was great…. Just off of 19A it was a nice 15 min leisurely drive to downtown Campbell River. Our family had a fantastic long weekend here and would definitely rent it again

It was everything we had hoped for. Comfy beds amazing view, specious and the ocean vista with morning coffees were fabulous. We are coming back. Matt , Our host was very caring in that all our needs were met.

Our stay at the beach house in Campbell River was fantastic. The hottub on the oceanfront deck was the highlight. Hearing the waves at night crashing on the shore sets the vibe. Tonnes of room and the house is fully stocked.

We stayed here as 2 family's with young children (2yrs, 4yrs & 5yrs) its in a lovely location with lots of opportunities to get outdoors (on the beach and a large garden).The house is nice and roomy for lots of people. The communal areas are nicely laid out for sociallising. However, there are a few bits which need updating with the property- there were quite a few power outlets not working.The host friendly but not overly helpful, we had issues with the smoke alarm constantly beeping as well as not enough towels provided which weren't resolved during our stay.

Great house and view. Plenty of room for our stay - 4 adults.
