Saddle Lake is a 298 acre, All Sports Lake. You can see the sunrise and sunset! Our home feels like a cabin and a lake house...best of both worlds! It offers plenty of indoor and outdoor space to host large groups. There are separate spaces to give all age groups their own area to hang out. You can bring your own boat, and we have a large pontoon boat available for rent separately. It is $200 per night of your stay. We don’t offer daily or partial stay rates.
The main floor has 3 bedrooms, one of which has a private entrance off the deck and is also accessible through the garage. We have a large primary suite with a full bathroom, and the other main floor bedroom also has direct access to a shared full bath.
The main floor has an open concept with a large kitchen, snack bar that seats 4, two dining tables that seat 6 each, and living room with Dish Network TV.
There is a large mudroom with lots of storage. Here you will find extra life jackets, folding chair and tables if needed, and a mini fridge. The laundry is also located on the main floor off the mudroom, and there is an extra shower and toilet. Easy access to the deck and makes a great place to clean up from the lake.
The upstairs is a large bunk room with a queen and 4 twin beds. This room has a cabin feel and each twin bed is in its own little alcove. There is a TV with DVD only available in this room.
The lower level is a walk out basement. It is a large open room with 3 bunk beds, a king size bed, pool table, kids play area, TV with Dish Network and 2 couches.
The deck is huge! We have a table that seats 6, one that seats 4, and two conversation sets which seat an additional 8.
We have 2 kayaks and a Lilly pad for floating in the lake. The swimming area is shallow and sandy. There is plenty of room in our large yard for games or events.
We have a fire pit down by the lake, and there is usually firewood for sale right down the road. We have 10 adult size Adirondack chairs and several little kid size chairs.
We have two 5-burner propane grills , as well as several grill tools (located in the kitchen).
Bring your own beach towels.

Several families stayed together at this beautiful property. There was plenty of room, it was spotless, and the property is gorgeous. We will be back for sure!
The house is so nice and big we were able to spread out. The kids had so much fun and the yard is great. Beautiful lake with a lot of fishing. We are definitely going back.
We stayed here for a family wedding. We had 20 to 22 people at the house and everyone agreed it was the perfect layout and we would definitely stay again. The lake water was warm. It is sandy near the shore so great to float or sit in the water, but if you want a swimming lake, this isn't it. It was great for fishing and kids could fish right off the dock! It's close to Lake Michigan, so we enjoyed our day swimming at Warren Dunes, an amazing state Park. The kitchen and dining area is spacious and the deck on the back with the gazebo was amazing. The only complaints from the group was the old style TV in the living room that did not have HDMI and the very spotty Wi-Fi. Don't plan on a working vacay if you need Internet. The beds were comfortable, the house was super clean with very comfortable furniture and the owner was so accommodating, which we very much appreciated. We also really appreciated all of the toys available for our 4 year old granddaughter to play with!
Our extended family of 14 had a great time at this property. It was very clean & had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable. Our grandkids had a great time fishing & exploring at the waterfront. We would definitely stay there again.
Perfect house for our family of 16, which included 8 adults and 8 kids age 12 and under. The house was very clean on our arrival and is tastefully decorated and furnished. There is plenty of room in multiple levels so you don't feel crowded at all. The air conditioning was top notch throughout the house. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals and two large tables for seating everyone. The deck is massive and had a spacious gazebo which is in the shade during peak sun. All the book readers hung out here. The kids seemed to gravitate to the upper loft where they hung out and watched movies. There is a neat little play area in the basement with a lot of toys that the younger kids played with. We found the internet adequate, but it did slow quite a bit during heavy use, and it really drops right outside the house. The yard leading to the lake is huge, however this seems to be a preferred spot for geese. A large flock were there when we arrived and trashed the lawn with their droppings. It took awhile to clean up the mess using a scoop that was on hand. They will keep coming back so you have to be on guard. The lake water was clean and shallow near the edge but there are slippery rocks as you try to enter the lake. Past the pier it's very weedy and not pleasant for swimming. Excellent fishing for kids off the end of the pier. The fish practically jump on the hook. Overall we loved the house and are making plans to go back next year.
This home suited our family of 20 perfectly. Our host was so prompt in returning answers to our questions beforehand. Plenty of room to spread out. Beds were good. Supplies were good. Enough bathrooms. Lake was perfect for the kids and we made use of the kayaks. We brought fishing poles and some children caught fish. Close enough to Lake Michigan too that the five families got there to enjoy a morning. The spacious deck and gazebo were wonderful for the adults to visit out there late into the evening after the children went to bed. We don’t know if the TV reception was good or not because we were too busy enjoying everything to turn those on. ? Thank you Janis!
The house was great! Large kitchen, wonderful deck, comfy beds. Two large bathrooms with deep tubs (showers included). Third bath has a bit of a weird layout with separate shower room, separate toilet room and for a sink it's the laundry sink beside the washer & dryer. It works tho if you're not finicky about brushing your teeth in a deep sink ?. Both tubs & the shower were a bit slippery for us senior citizens to try to get out of after a shower without grab bars and non-slip flooring or mats. I did like the fact that upon arrival each bed had a towel & washcloth on it for guest, a very nice touch. The king bedroom that says is accessible through the garage is separated from the main part of the house and the only access is thru the garage or the deck. Nice room but no privacy curtain on the door to the deck. Beautiful setting on the lake, so relaxing. If you're thinking of staying at this house, don't hesitate, do it!! No, it's not perfect but then, I've yet to stay in a perfect place and I've stayed in VRBO homes in several countries and across the USA. This was the cleanest home I've ever stayed in by far. My only concern was the slick tub/shower situation.
We had the most amazing time at this house on Saddle Lake! Our whole family stayed here, (12 adults, 10 kids, all ages) and there was plenty of room! So much space inside and outside, so many fun things to do. The owner was amazing throughout the whole process! Everyone had a blast and so many memories were made that we will carry with us forever. We would definitely rent again! Thank you for one of our BEST family vacations!
