This house is beautiful, warm, and inviting. The main floor is very spacious and beautiful, the upstairs bedrooms and bathrooms are very large and beautiful. And the basement is a fully furnished game room with a very nice modern full bath. The view from the huge deck is incredible! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! And the owners were very responsive and helpful! Highly recommend staying here.
Property was great… very cozy over the holiday weekend and within reach of everything we wanted to do. The wood stove warmed up the basement until we read the rules that said don’t use it (oops!). Had a great stay all around.
We had a wonderful time staying at the house. It fit everyone well and was very well stocked. It was close to shops if you needed anything. Heather checked in on us to make sure we didn’t have any questions or issues. Would stay there again!
Good location. Great house for our 7 people. Just had a wonderful time!
Great property in a beautiful setting - it feels like it's far out in the country but it's short distance to civilization. This was a wonderful experience for our small group of friends. Heather was wonderful to deal with. Highly recommend!
This was the perfect place for a father/son getaway weekend. Our sons played in a national tournament in York, PA and we needed a place big enough for 2 adults and 4 teen boys. This was ideal. The place was exactly as described and the perfect set up for our crew. Communication from the hosts was amazing and we could not have asked for a better place to stay. Our hope is that the boys qualify for the same tournament next year just so we can return. If so you can bet that this will be at the top of our list for accommodations.
This property was great! Ample room 6+ adults. Clean home. Easy to find and plenty of brewerys and eaterys close by as well as grocery store. Beautiful deck and view!!
The property is the perfect combo of off-the-grid and near everything you might need. It's a magical location, a grand house with an even grander view, and it was perfect for our weekend in nature. Highly recommend.
We had stayed overnight a night before a wedding. Everything was perfect, the home was roomy, clean and had everything that we needed. Directions, communication, instructions and reservations went smoothly. We would definitely love to stay again. Thank you, Heather!
Amazing stay and hospitality ❤️
Sit on the deck, enjoy the view, watch the birds, eat an apple from the tree. Talk a walk on the trail, order crabs, enjoy an evening fire by the fire pit. If that sounds good, then this place is for you.
Our weekend stay in Glen Rock was perfect. The spacious multileveled house and property overlooking the beautiful countryside is exactly what we were hoping for. In the entrance was a welcome basket with goodies and essentials along with detailed property information, and areas of interest. Heather and Robyn were extremely responsive from the booking process through our departure. They anticipated our needs and provided what we may have forgotten. The house itself was spotless, comfortable, and spacious. The master suite had a comfortable bed, black out shades, a well-lit vanity and a great bathtub and shower. The well-stocked kitchen has a coffee bar and the family room a large tv, dvds, books, and boardgames. There was plenty of space and seating inside and on the front deck with the retractable awning perfect for outdoor dinners and nature gazing. Our family loved the large outdoor patio and firepit; played foosball, air hockey, and even set up a game of baseball near the apple tree! The Rail trails can be accessed directly across the property’s driveway! It was such a pleasant walk which we took us to the shops on Main Street. We also took a scenic 15-minute drive to a winery that had a food truck and live music, visited the Markets at Shrewsbury and a coffee/ice cream shop. We can only imagine how beautiful the next few weeks will be with all the fall foliage! Our family is already looking forward to our next visit! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
This is a great place to stay!!!. House was full loaded from the kitchen, to games and movies, to firewood outside. The pictures do not do this list justice. We had a great time here and we are going back in the near future. Located close to great bars - restaurants, hiking trails -lakes, antiques - shopping, or that quite time that we all need. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!
