Stayed Dec 23, 2024We where 2 families with two teenagers who stayed in this large house. The communications with both Jayne and Catarina were smooth and they always quickly responded.This house is big with 4 bedroom's and large kitchen/dining with huge windows and door to the garden and pool. The house stand high upon in a hill just outside Calheta.The view and the garden is the best about this house.Every day there was a new picture of the sunset or the views over the sea. Everything cleen and not much to complain about. And we loved Catarina the houseHighly recommend but you need a car to stay here.

Stayed Jun 20, 2024Our 4 nights here were fabulous. The house is large and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We greatly appreciated the wine for us adults and snacks for our kids that were presented upon check-in. Catarina was very kind and walked us through the basic locations of things in the house and how to properly unroll and roll up the pool cover. The weather was absolutely perfect during our stay and the view from the pool and lounge area makes you feel like a tiny ant as you stare out at the vastness of the ocean. All in all, this was a great stay that we will remember for years to come.

Stayed Apr 18, 2023Our mid-April 2023 stay was fantastic. Basing ourselves on the published pictures and conversations with both Jayne and Catarina, nothing was different from what got. Everything met and even exceeded our hopes. Catarina, the on site hostess, was very helpful to us. The kitchen/dining room is large and well-equipped. The house is a very good space for a family. The pool was wonderful, gardens and view fantastic. Thank you so much.

Stayed Feb 19, 2023We had a wonderful week in february in the lovely house as a family with three children (7 years, 4 years, 10 month) The children especially loved the heated pool. Catarina was a big help and even brought more wood for the fire place spontanously, when we had finished it.. Everything was perfect!

Stayed Jan 28, 2023Spacious, spotlessly clean, comfortable and cozy -- we had a lovely week staying at Jayne's house. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals, the fireplace kept us warm in the cool February evenings, and the views from the deck are absolutely breathtaking!
