We enjoyed our time in this home. It worked well while we were in town for our sons wedding. Great outdoor space! Wish there were shades on the windows would be my only complaint.
We would definitely stay at this property again.
We attending a family wedding right down the road so it was a great location. The house and grounds were beautiful with all the amenities you could ask for. I would highly recommend this house.
We stayed in this home for a wedding of a college friend. The wedding was two miles down the road at Misty Farm and this was the perfect place to host a group!! We had 10 adults and all slept comfortably. We enjoyed hanging outside in the great outdoor space, and had no problem cooking and hosting everyone! Would highly recommend and visit again!
Very clean and well kept property
The property was absolutely gorgeous. We stayed in the house for a small family wedding. There was plenty of space in a beautiful home. Thanks for the great stay!
This home was warm and welcoming. It fit our family well. We stayed outside most of the time, still trying to stay safe and enjoy the weather. The awning was really nice, and the fire pit was well used!! Two suggestions: shades on the windows and new chairs for the outside area. Overall, great place!!
We made great use of the wonderful patio, well-equip kitchen, dining and comfy family room area during a recent family reunion. Great space for 9 people to cook and enjoy meals together. Plenty of room for games, puzzles and relaxing together. Beds were comfortable--plenty of room for 9. Lots of fluffy towels. Friendly neighbors and 15 minutes to the university and farmers market. Nice grocery store just down the road--there are fancier groceries in town but the one close by had great produce, and a decent selection of meats and fish, plus wine so no need to drive farther. Plenty of household items like paper towels, napkins, dish soap, dishwasher soap, laundry soap, wraps and foil at the house. Only drawback was it's outside of town surrounded by busy roads so nowhere to really take a walk or run.
We absolutely loved our stay! After having thanksgiving at a family residence outside of Chicago for over 30 years, this home provided new location for our gathering. With space for 10 to stay comfortably, there were additional tables/chairs and other amenities to accommodate a larger group for two dinners. The interior of the home was in excellent condition, and woodwork with a wood-burning fireplace made for a cozy feel throughout our stay. Being our first VRBO experience, we were not sure what to bring; this home had everything needed. If we were to repeat again next year, we’d absolutely hope to stay here again; wouldn’t change a thing!
This is a beautiful house on the outskirts of Ann Arbor. It has a HUGE yard and basketball hoop that is great for families that need to entertain kids. The finished basement is also a great place for the kids to have a fun sleepover environment. House has lots of sleeping bags, extra linens and an air mattress. The house itself feels like it is located out in the country, but in reality you are only about a mile from groceries, shopping, food, etc. Drive five minutes up Scio Church road and you are right at the Big House. We left at 6:15 for a 7:40 game and were in the stadium about 30 minutes before kickoff. Big kitchen is great for cooking and the back patio is great for enjoying a drink in nice weather. Enjoyed our stay!
