Large, Classic Beachfront House with Wrap-Around Porch by Tybee Cottages

This home was just perfect. Short walk to the beach and very nice quiet street. Close to everything! The house is simply beautiful and well cared for. Would stay here again! Love Tybee!!!

The porch was amazing! Great location right on the back river beach and super close to the south end when we wanted some waves.

Great location. Clean. Well equipped kitchen which we used. Great vintage home of the 1930s which fortunately hasn't been gutted. Appreciated the history. Spectacular wrap around porch which we loved. Short walk to beach, inlet or ocean. Very comfortable bedrooms and beds. Loved the decor and all the books and art. Thanks!

The home which was on the Southern end of the Island where the river met the ocean was the perfect location. The river side was calmer with no waves which made for easy floating and kayaking. The ocean side was only a few hundred yards away where we could play in the surf and my daughter tried surfboarding. The home had a huge screened in porch with room for everyone to spread out. The view was magnificent and it was a very short walk to the beach. The home was very comfy with four bedrooms and three baths. The kitchen was a little small but well equipped with everything we needed. The decorations and ambience were very vintage and unique and I felt like I was in a special place. Thoroughly enjoyed our trip!

Reviewer Comments: just wanted to pass along what a great time we had at Swan Cottage July 22-29.After spending a dozen years up the street at 1903 Chatham, we have found a new home at Swan Cottage.We will be re-booking for next year once the July schedule comes out.

The sunsets are beautiful and we could watch them from the porch. Swan Cottage is located right on the river and the ocean is right around the bend. The location of this property is so convenient to the shopping area. We walked there everyday to shop, get sushi or get ice cream on the pier. We felt very safe walking the streets and the beach.
