This is a three story home with multiple sets of stairs.
The third floor bedroom is a converted loft and does not have a door.
There is not direct access from the garage into the home.
There is a detached, private, 1 bedroom unit behind (south) of this home that we rent out separately. Guests of this unit MAY enter from our front gate on Sapphire St to walk down to their unit (above the garage). There is no other shared space with this unit.
This home is monitored by exterior surveillance cameras and interior noise monitoring devices.
We supply a starter pack of paper goods and cleaning products. This includes paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, multi-purpose spray, hand & dish soap, and shower sets.
Beach chairs and a beach umbrella are also provided for your use.
You must be at least 30 years old to rent this home. If all guests are adults, all guests must be over the age of 30, excluding families.

Neighborhood Notes:
Pacific Beach is San Diego's lively take on the classic beach town with over five miles of waterfront boardwalk, trendy shops, restaurants, and Belmont Park, a beachfront amusement park featuring the historic Giant Dipper Roller Coaster, originally built in 1925 but since restored, miniature golf, bumper cars, rock climbing, and an arcade. Pacific Beach is just a few minutes to Sea World, 15-20 minutes to The San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, San Diego International Airport (SAN), and downtown San Diego.

This rental is located in a high-density neighborhood with strict house rules and is only suitable for quieter groups. No tolerance policy exists for excessive noise, occupancy, parties, or smoking. Failure to abide by these policies may lead to immediate eviction without refund. Please make sure you are comfortable with these policies before renting.

As your beach getaway comes to an end, we kindly ask you to follow these quick steps before checking out. Please turn off all lights, fans, and HVAC; lock all doors and windows; start the dishwasher with any dirty dishes; leave used towels on the bathroom floor and beds unmade; and remove all trash and recycling. Don't forget to report any damages, issues, or upgrade suggestions—we truly value your feedback! Check-out is at 10:00 AM, unless a late check-out was pre-approved. Requests must be submitted at least 24 hours in advance. Thank you for staying with us!

    My family members and I travelled, from all over USA, for our mother's Burial at Sea/ Funeral. This house was very spacious, clean, brightly lit with natural lighting, many private bathrooms, and a very large kitchen. It was situated in a neighborhood where we felt safe and enjoyed walking to Surf-Hill and coffee shops. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and stocked with fresh, and soft linens. The layout of the house, with its many private bathrooms, is ideal for families. I did not hesitate to give it a 5 star review!

    The house was fantastic. Clean, well-laid out, roomy, perfect for our party of 9. The location was excellent, nice and close (walkable) to everything we wanted: restaurants, shops, coffee, beach. We had a great time and are so happy to have found this rental.

    We loved the house! It was perfect for nine family members. Kitchen was well stocked . Location was easy. Enjoyed the large outside table and grill. Walkable to restaurants /coffee shops. We had no issues and enjoyed our stay!

    We loved this house! We were in Pacific Beach for a month and this house was great. It is a quality home outfitted with high end Viking appliances and well stocked with everything you will need such as dinnerware, pots, pans, cutlery, etc...The beds and bedding are nice and the washer/dryer set up is perfect.We really enjoyed the rooftop deck. Each morning we would go up to watch the ocean and wait for the parrots.The location has the benefit of being near restaurants, grocery and the beach but just far enough away from the hubbub. We felt very lucky to have picked such a nice place in such a great location.

    All in all, nice home and great location. Only complaint related tthe garage located in the alley. Backing out of the garage into the alley required a bit of patience and unloading baggage/groceries was not a straight shot into the house. The only other issue involved construction work next door but that was certainly out of the control of the property owners.

    We could not have been happier with this property. We stayed there for an extended weekend with friends to attend the Breeder's Cup at Del Mar. We ended up spending most of our weekend in the Pacific Beach neighborhood and around the house. Fun time and the house and its layout really contributed to the experience. Great en suite bedrooms gave everyone privacy and the common areas were great for socializing. Gem of a spot.

    This property was perfect for our sibling reunion. The upstairs loft room with the great outdoor deck was a big hit. The property is in a really good location. It's close to grocery stores, restaurants, and the beach. Having a garage parking space is a big plus. The kitchen had everything we needed. I highly recommend this property.

    We celebrated our daughter’s 21st bday with 4 of her friends and this house was perfect for our group. The bedroom and bathroom situation is perfect. The 2nd floor are all en-suite’s… the loft is as well, but no door to that room (which is fine)… and the main floor bathroom works well for the bedroom on that floor. The beach is a 10 min walk or 2 min drive. We would drive to Law beach, drop all the stuff and find a parking spot close. This beach is great… showers and bathrooms. The house had everything we needed. Well equipped. Internet was great. Close to food spots and a local grocery store.

    Overall our stay was very good. The house is spacious and had enough rooms and bathrooms for our group. The neighborhood is nice and it is about a 10 minute walk to the surf beach - a bit further to get closer to bars and restaurants on the boardwalk. The only issue was the first floor bedroom didn’t have an attached bathroom. There is a bathroom in the first floor with a shower, but it’s unattached. The kitchen was well equipped and spacious. The home was very well done.

    The house was beautiful, clean, great indoor and outdoor space. It was just as represented in the listing. Convenient location to grocery and restaurants. Easy to walk to many locations. Having the garage for 1 vehicle was nice as street parking was hard to find.
