Large 6 bed house for large groups within walking distance to York City Centre

Brilliant for a party of 10-14 people. The location is excellent - within 10 minutes walking into the city centre.

It’s an old converted former pub Well equipped kitchen ,very large dinning table seating very good around Tv in lounge area A great downstairs shower and toilet 6 rooms4 on first floor 2 en-suite 2 on top floor with skinny stairs but includes great size shower and toilet All rooms vary in size but well heated with extra heaters in hanging space provided 2 single beds can be converted if doubles needed for all rooms Just be careful on the stairs as lights come on automatically ,but needed to be a touch sooner first step below door level we were a fit group of mature ladies who enjoyed the fab location with take aways very close by a pub easily walkable into York Blinds in lounge automatic with a button parking in very very close car park excellent costs but worth every Penny

House was amazing and excellent host. Very central to York city centre and very good parking facilities close by. Will definitely be booking this again in the future.

Wow! Wow! Wow! From the moment we entered the property we were blown away. You will not get a better house and host than this! Spotlessly clean, Comfortable beds, Modern decor, so much space. Fantastic for accomadating large groups. Only very very small point I can say is there was no mirror in the main bedroom (bedroom 1) only in the bathroom. Meaning if person 1 was having a shower and getting ready in the ensuit, person 2 did not have a mirror to use to get ready. Could sometimes become slightly annoying trying to use a steamed up mirror to do your hair and makeup. However, this was not a major issue as plenty other mirrors in the house to use. So would never knock the rating down for this, just some small feedback as a mirror would make it slighlty easier for big groups that all. I have to say the bathrooms were all amazing! The water pressure was something all our group commented on. Even when a few people were showering at the same time the water pressure was still fab! The showers were all great too. Very big and very modern. I also have to comment on the drinks optic in the 'bar'. This was stocked with alcohol, 3 bottles of prosecco and snacks all there on our arrival. A lovely little touch that excited many within the group. A cupboard full of board games and plenty to keep us entertained. We've had the best two nights away in York that we've ever had. So thank you Su for being an amazing host and for such great communication too. We will all recommend. Y
