Lakeview retreat with Free Wifi, hot tub, fireplaces, patio, balcony, & grill

Nice house, beautiful views. Great for a family and friend get together!

We had a family of 10 stay after Christmas and had a great experience! The home is spacious, split plan design with bedrooms and living space on all 3 floors. Tons of sleeping space with comfy beds and quality linens. The home is on a large parcel with privacy, lots of places to explore and enjoy views, water and nature. Such a nice home with being pet friendly as a bonus! We had a slight issue initially with the internet/router but the property manager was swift in their response to resolve. Kitchen was well stocked and appreciated the labels to find things. Also had some spices which was helpful, and we contributed some too before leaving. We cooked exclusively in the home with ease! They also well stocked trash bags, soaps, etc. Was a little disappointed that the hot tub didn’t appear to have been cleaned prior to arrival and the water was green. Bummer not to be able to join. Also suggest drawers in kitchen to have a cleaning - found lots of crumbs and small trash. We look forward to being return guests in years to come!

Large home and updated!

We enjoyed our stay in this nice house with our dog and children. Two living spaces is a plus. Nice kitchen.

We did a small family reunion at the house - the bunk room and attached game room were perfect for all of the cousins. The hosts had outstanding recs for family friendly activities in the area. We loved the little swimming area and the hot tub!

perfect for a family gathering!

The house has a great view of the mountains and nice wide trail down to the lake with kayaks. The best part is the waterfall where there are chairs and a deck you can sit on. We sat here and our kids slid down the waterfall for hours and played in the river. There were tons of blue berry bushes ripe to pick during our stay. Despite feeling like we were in the middle of no where it is super close to grocery store, Lake Lure, Chimney Rock, tons of hikes and midway between Asheville and Greenville which we did a day trip to each of those. And they had just installed a hot tub when we arrived! So we spent our nights in the hot tub watching the sun set behind the mountains and the kids trying to catch fireflies! Great place, looking forward to coming back next summer!

Pretty property and surrounding area. Walked the trails in back. Great porch views and space in home. Somewhat remote area, yet in a well-maintained neighborhood. Thank you for letting us stay.

This home was the perfect escape for me and my family. This was the first trip my siblings and cousins since we were young. We loved the location and amenities at the home. We made a fire every night and loved sitting in the sunroom. The hike down to lake is tough for a beach girl but so worth it! We would love to book this home every year!

Very nice house…just not kept up in many ways Misses on the house Landscaping neglected Trail to water impassable/ trees down on path Ant hills and ants everywhere on right area of driveway where we parked No firewood Numerous inside lights were not working Dryer vent blocked would not dry No paper towel reserve No cleaning supply Only 3 towels in master suite TVs in basement and playroom did not work No fire extinguisher Representation of lake access overstated. Almost impossible to get to and more of a dirty pond with a dock about to collapse Otherwise awesome!! Haha it really was but I would not recommend nor would I book again
