This home is gorgeous and the views are spectacular! The location and garage are ideal for picking up the Lakeshore bike path. The disappointing thing was how little thought seemed to go into guest convenience and comfort. Checking in was challenging because we weren’t given the garage code, then were given the wrong one. Unloading groceries was difficult because the pantry cabinets were all locked so there was nowhere for our provisions but cluttering the counters. One of the freezer drawers was locked, so our frozen food barely fit. There are no window treatments in the bathrooms, which is really creepy at night. The bed is very tall, without any stool for those of us who aren’t 6 feet tall. And the nightstands aren’t as tall as the bed, making them much too short to be functional. The bedroom door scrapes on the carpet, so there is no quietly leaving the bedroom while your spouse sleeps. None of these things individually are terrible, but altogether it’s the difference between good and great.

We enjoyed our stay. This home has a well-equipped kitchen, many comfortable places to sit and gather, and beautiful views of the lake from all three bedrooms in addition to the living room and attached deck. This is a three bedroom home with three full bathrooms. This is a great location for a retreat, study time, small group meeting, to hike from trailheads in the neighborhood, or to get some rest in a comfortable home with a great view.Two things to note: 1. two bedrooms have king beds, the third has a queen or double bed, so if you are traveling with three parties, the bedrooms are not equivalent. That said, this was much better than our other options for the weekend, which had an obvious kids room or bunk room.2. The two king beds are higher than average, which was an unexpected challenge for two people in our group.

We are very happy with our recent stay with MG Vacation Rentals! The house was clean, well stocked and had very nice personal touches. The p[ace we stayed at was by far our favorite, and the customer service was incredible. We only wished we had more time to stay longer! I would definitely use MG Vacation Rentals in the future.

We loved staying at this cabin for our family summer vacation. The views are as amazing as pictured and the cabin is well equipped and with a great floorplan. We loved the hot tub and location. There were a few things here and there that didn't work, like the screen door to the main deck, but we still enjoyed our trip. The biggest surprise was that none of the bedrooms or bathrooms have window treatments on the big picture windows. This would have been a problem if we had wanted our younger child to nap in the afternoons, but thankfully did not end up being a big deal. Because of this, we woke up at sunrise and didn't go to bed until sunset, so take note if your wake/sleep hours are different, especially in the long summer months.

PROS – We stayed in this home for 4 nights. The views were spectacular and even better in person. The home is spacious, comfortable and well appointed. It was a nice place for our group to relax. The neighborhood is very quiet and Incline Village is a lovely place. The house is only 1 ½ miles to restaurants, grocery, pharmacy and the hospital - which we used for high altitude issues. The home was clean and well stocked with non perishable items, paper products and plastic bags. Beds are very comfortable, Issue was promptly addressed - Upon arrival, the kitchen was so poorly lit, we needed a flashlight to see in the cabinets and use the microwave. 5 of 9 kitchen bulbs were out and the 4 that were working were amber color; not of much use. Most of the bulbs were replaced, with brighter bulbs, within 24 hours of reporting it to the property manager. Check in/out instructions are clear. Light switches are marked well CONS – Parking/Garage – We did not have access to the garages so backing out of the shared driveway is the ultimate test of your driving skills Downstairs toilet, near laundry room – It flushed properly for 2 days, but backed up and was not remedied before we left. (This same issue was mentioned, in a review, August 2023) Many rooms had 1 or 2 bulbs not working Upstairs bedroom – King bed is very high and needed to use the ottoman (from downstairs) to make a step. Downstairs Master Bedroom – no access to the owner’s closets

Charming, elegant and homey. Wonderful kitchen for do it yourself chefs. Very comfortable beds for good night sleep. I’m so relaxed, I wish I didn’t have to go back to work. Will come again soon.
