Lakeside Retreat in Downtown Coeur d'Alene with Beach Access & Hot Tub

The location was excellent. It served its purpose for us. Location location location! It’s a very tired property, but it smells like going back to your grandmas house. It could use an upgrade in the bathrooms. But so much space available for big groups. If the landscape was cared for and kept trimmed up, it would be absolutely beautiful. So much potential with is house.

The location on lake CDA, walking distance to the shops and restaurants of downtown CDA was perfect for our stay. Beautiful views of the lake and a large park with children’s play area across the street. Home was clean and well appointed. Host responded to our 1 question promptly, check in and out was smooth. 5 star stay.

This home is in a fabulous location with views through the windows to the lake on one side and the park and lake on another. It’s an easy walk to the hotel, marina, park and downtown. It’s spacious enough for a large group, but we had 3 couples and our goal when booking was for each couple to have their own bathroom. Because of the odd layout with one bedroom and 2 1/2 baths upstairs versus 3 bedrooms and 1 small bath downstairs, this created an awkward situation for one couple to have to go back and forth up and down the stairs. We did not pick up on this detail in the listing. It would be helpful to see floor plans for both floors in the gallery. We were able to do this on other homes which made it much clearer. The home was clean and kitchen well equipped and updated. The rest of the house could use some updating though. The property managers were very responsive. We had a tv problem and they had someone come by very quickly to fix it.

Really great stay: Location is unbeatable, house is big and comfortable, host communication was prompt and thorough. Will likely be staying again next year.

The owners did not tell me they had a gardeners come do an extensive project on the day I was planning a family birthday party I had to cancel the party because the noise was so loud Very disappointed

This house is fantastic! Steps away from the beach and one of the best playgrounds we have ever been to. This house certainly is not short on amenities and space. Our only two issues and why I only gave 4 stars were the mattresses were past their prime and could use an updating. The other issue is when downstairs, you hear every footstep upstairs. Normally not an issue, but 3 of the 4 bedrooms are downstairs.

The host was extremely helpful and communicative with us. The home was super clean and everything that had been written up about it in the description was right on.

Not well taken care of..had to call manager about windows not being clean, landscape extremely overgrown, Teflon pans that were scratched to extreme, refrigerator not working properly...a few other things as well....could not have asked for better location!!!

Location, location, location! We absolutely loved staying here. Home is right off the city beach, park, and a short walk to downtown for your morning coffee or dinner.

This home has a beautiful location right across the street from Lake Couerd’alene. The size of the home held 8 of us comfortably.There are three bedrooms downstairs but only one restroom. There is an extra full bath upstairs, but kind of an odd location. We really enjoyed the location of the house and could walk so many places. We thought an upgrade in kitchen pans would be great.

This is our third stay in the past 10 years at this property. The location is ideal. The size of the property is great for our group of 6 adults and one infant. The downsides are the furnishings. There is a queen size bed that has such a deep trench that the two members of our party that we’re staying in that room left to stay in hotel. They didn’t want to spend another night of discomfort and poor sleep. The two king size beds are also in poor condition. The living room furniture is in poor condition. Cushions are worn and upholstery is heavily stained. The dishwasher is also not secured to the counter. Without evidence of upgrades, we won’t be returning for a fourth stay.

This was a terrific property with beautiful lake views and within easy walking distance to shops.

We had a great time at this beautiful home. This location was perfect for our family gathering. January is not a typical tourist time so we were not here for any activities offered by CDA. We enjoyed this home and the spaciousness for our time to relax and catch up. There was easy access to walk in the park next door and short drives to stores. The view of the lake was peaceful and beautiful. We would like to return sometime in the warmer weather to enjoy outdoor activities and the hot tub.up.

We absolutely love the location. Plenty of room very quiet and the views are amazing! A few things need maintenance - two strips on the front patio blinds came off during our stay. Also, a piece on the top part of the refrigerator came off and we couldn’t figure out how to get it put back on. The comforter on upstairs bedroom had several stains on it. The furniture is a bit dated but functional. The curtains could use a bit of maintenance as well. Overall we loved the location and the price was reasonable. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Fourth time staying at the house because it is comfortable with a great location -- on the lake, on the park and walking distance to the CDA Resort and town. Fun in summer and winter! A great stay as always!!

This home is cozy and comfortable. It felt like going to stay at Grandma's house. It was clean with comfortable beds. The location is perfect if you enjoy nature. We enjoyed walks on the beach as well as walks in the park. We look forward to staying in this home again.

We went to CDA to golf and hang out with family. We brought our dogs and the back yard was perfect for them. The house was walking distance to town and right next to a park. There was plenty of space and even a garage.
