Lakeside Paradise | Hot Tub | Superb Location

We had an amazing stay at The Hangout at Mimosa Point! Our family stayed for my sister’s wedding weekend, and this was the perfect retreat to help keep everyone relaxed. We had plenty of space and especially enjoyed the lovely 2-level patio and hot tub overlooking the lake. This home is very well cared for and has everything you need, including a well-stocked kitchen, to have the perfect lakeside retreat weekend. Highly recommend!

Our stay was great. We had a few issues that were address right away.

We absolutely loved this place! We were 4 couples and it was a perfect layout. The back deck is one of the best features. The location was so quiet, even tranquil. We loved listening to the birds and geese and frogs while drinking relaxing in the morning or at night. It’s a beautiful setting. Loved watching a thunder/lightning storm while in the hot tub. Beds were comfortable (1 soft, 3 medium) so everyone was happy. Host was excellent to work with and responsive to all my questions. Absolutely no bugs in April so we could lounge outside as long as we wanted. Hot tub was plenty hot with adjustable temp. Although it doesn’t fit 8 people. 5-6 got the water level pretty high. Really appreciated that their drinkware was plastic since they request no glass in the hot tub. Oaklawn horse races was a highlight, and we recommend the Quapaw Baths if you have a group and want to soak together. Ohio Club downtown had a great speakeasy vibe with a cool history. Enjoyed the view from the observation tower in the national park. Rolando’s restaurant back patio was special. Would definitely come back to Hot Springs and the Hangout!

Mimosa Point was a great destination! It had EVERYTHING that was needed, was clean and we could not ask for anything better!

We love this property! This was our second stay for our family and we plan to stay again in the future! We love hanging out on the deck! Great view!

This was the perfect home for our vacation. We had two families staying here, 4 adults and 6 children and we all had plenty of room. The space was great for what we needed and we all felt like we had plenty of room. We enjoyed the hot tub, the fire pit and the game room area.

It was a great location and convenient to downtown. Perfect for 3 couples and enough gathering spaces to enjoy and use! Would definitely stay again.

The house was perfect for our family getaway! We love to cook and enjoyed the well stocked kitchen! The area was peaceful, and quiet. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for all 6 of us and the grandbaby! There was a Christmas tree in the living room that added to our enjoyment. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home in a tranquil setting. Lots of space to gather with the group with quiet rooms to relax in. Very good communication before, during and after the stay. Highly recommend.

Great host!

Big upper deck, covered, comfortable chairs and sofas, big livingroom, nice bedrooms, would definitely stay there again. No boat dock and I don’t think I’d swim in the back end of the cove, nice location to main street whit close restaurants. Fisherman’s wharf, lahacienda, and Jose’s restaurants are all good. Home was easy access on quiet street.

Nice place to stay, wish it was summer so we could have enjoyed the deck and outside area! A ton of space for the family.

We had a wonderful time! This place has everything you need! Beautiful property, plenty of space for your group to be comfortable, and a lovely deck! The hot tub was such a gift after a day exploring the outdoors. We were also impressed with how the great the hosts were at communicating during our visit! We would definitely come back if we are in the area again!

Lovely lake view with large deck. Great location just a quick drive to gardens, casino, and bathhouse row.

We had three small children on our trip and this was a perfect area for them to swim. Everyone enjoyed the fishing as well. The family area was huge and a great hangout spot for the whole family. Although we didn’t cook while there, the kitchen was well equipped with anything you might need. Thank you for a wonderful time!

Love Hot Springs and our home was excellent. Was exactly what we expected and more. Will be back and couldn’t have been any better.

The house is great, as advertised. All the descriptions are very accurate. The house was very clean, very spacious, seemed newly renovated. The ONLY complaint regards check-in and communication, response of the host. Check-in was NOT as advertised. I was told that check in on the day of was 4pm and it was made very clear that we were not to arrive early. I was told that, sometime on the day of check in, before 4pm, I would receive a code for the door. 4pm came and went and I did not receive a code. I never received the code. So starting after 4pm I called and texted the numbers that I was told to call in case of any problems and there was never a response. To this day, still no response. The only way we got in was that, starting around 4:15/4:20, one of our party started checking the doors to see if they were unlocked, and so finally the last door we checked was unlocked and so we entered and then everything was great after that. So, to the hosts, thanks for leaving the door unlocked, but, it would have been really nice to have been told this ahead of time. If you were going to change instructions, i.e., no door code, and so instead leave a door unlocked, well then you have a responsibility as the hosts to inform your guests. So, my advice to all who are looking at renting this property, I highly recommend it, but, just be sure to communicate with the hosts well in advance in order to confirm what procedures they plan to follow for check in.

We had a great time. It was very tranquil & relaxing. Exactly what we needed for our little gettaway! The home was spacious, clean & stocked well. There were only 4 of us this time. We will be back with the rest of our group for sure soon. Definitely a home away from homem

This is the perfect 4 bedroom house on the lake. There are 2 bedrooms on 1st level and 2 bedrooms on lower level with a full size bunk bed in common area on lower level so could sleep 10. Very nice decor and very spacious living area. Everyone agreed the beds were comfortable. The huge covered deck has plenty of comfortable seating, tv, a grill and beautiful view. There is a poker table and shuffleboard. The host was quick with responses and wanted to ensure a pleasant experience. Would definitely recommend and plan on staying here again.

Beautiful lake home. The outside deck overlooking the lake is so peaceful. We loved spending time there. Would definitely book again and again. This was our second time staying at the Hangout. .
