Lakeside Home Atop a Mini Mtn Hideaway

Sometimes when you stay in a rental home you find it to be lacking, this was not one of those times. 10/10 it had all the things! The space was extremely clean, comfortable and welcoming. It was like staying at a friend’s place where special touches were made to cozy it up just for you. The home is spacious inside and also has a large covered porch along the back which overlooks the lake. The property is dog friendly and has a fenced in backyard that is small but secure (even for a beagle!). In our down time from exploring the Asheville area we really enjoyed being able to walk the dog around the lake and relaxing on that awesome porch breathing in the mountain air.It was the perfect mid winter getaway and we found our time there to be restful and worry free.

Great location and a cute house. Close to a wonderful bakery and a small park with a lake and a walking path. Just right for our family get away.

Lovely home, conveniently located. Quick ride to Asheville. Quiet and private, Loved seeing the deer on the driveway! Not able to view the lake from the house, but it is pretty to walk or drive around. Easy check in-great communication with host, Mary.

It’s been about 20 years that we’ve been visiting NC & it’s the first vacation rental that we’ve stayed in that’s been in town. Lovely home, exactly as pictured & very convenient to Weaverville. Lake Louise is across the street & we hit it lucky for the farmers market. Loved the covered porch, no humidity!! Kitchen was well stocked with cooking things, but too many good restaurants & a wonderful bakery to visit. Just a great home & Mary was very attentive to anything we needed. Definitely recommend a visit, we will stay there again.

Very easy check in/out process, very welcoming for our dogs, stocked with everything we needed, loved hanging out on the back porch, and Weaverville is a great place to stay while also being super close to Asheville!

What a lovely house. The location was convenient. We loved walking around Lake Louise and the sunsets from the porch were lovely. Mary went above and beyond as a hostess. The home was filled with very thoughtful gestures such as local Asheville popcorn, teas and a well stocked kitchen. It was all very appreciated.

We’ve been coming to Asheville area for many years and this is by far the best place we’ve stayed in. The location cannot be beat, overlooking the lake, walk to downtown Weaverville, minutes from downtown Asheville and the most amazing property for dogs! What makes it particularly special is your host, Mary. The house is superbly stocked and it is truly like being home. Thank you, Mary and Greg!

Beautiful property and very convenient location! We enjoyed the games and well-stocked pantry. Hosts were very kind and worked with us after navigating some car trouble, and we appreciated it so much!
