Lakehouse, waterfront, dock, kayaks, wifi, grill, outdoor dining, ping-pong, w/d

We had such a lovely relaxing visit to the northern Vermont area in this beautiful lake house. We had planned to go out and do some sightseeing for the day, but ended up staying in to enjoy kayaking the clear lake, the dog swimming and the fire pit. The fall foliage is georgeous from the multiple rooms with lake views. And it was so easy getting yummy takeout burgers and a few groceries from the local store 5 minutes away. Everything was ready and clean and we had all the info we needed from the host. Would definitely come back with kids or friends.

Our family had a great time staying at this house. Location was great, access to water at our front door. The home is actually bigger than it looks, and had plenty of room for our family of six. I would recommend this home.

We loved staying at this home by the peaceful lake! The home is tastefully decorated and has great spaces to sit alone or join your travel companions lake side! We unplugged and completely unwound!!! We fell in the love with the area! Thank you for setting up the perfect peaceful retreat !!!

We heard loons multiple times both day and night. Ducks visited on water and on shore! The house was spacious, comfortable, quiet and clean. Plenty of lawn chairs for around the fire, water was calm and warm, morning walk to see sunrise was breathtaking.

Our third time on Lake Eden, but our first time at this property, which ended up being a wonderful experience. House was complete with everything you need, very comfortable. Spent most of our time by the lake where the shade of the trees was welcome during some very hot days. We love Eden and Stowe and the whole Rte 100 area. Would definitely recommend.

The property is private on a private road with private access to the lake that is right off the back deck. The back yard area is closed off enough that we didn’t have to worry about the dog running off, we were able to have him off leash while we threw the ball for him in the water. The lake is surprisingly quiet, though on Saturday there were a few people tubing and motoring around in small boats. The kitchen is fully equipped, the house is thoughtfully designed, and can sleep 8 comfortably, although there were only four of us. there are a lot of board games to play if it gets rainy and you’re staying inside, and a ping-pong table. The lake is beautiful and peaceful, this was one of my favorite getaways with the family that we’ve ever taken.

The house is very private, on a quiet road. The access to the lake could not be better, the small dock is right off the back patio. We had a fantastic time and had everything we needed, and if you forgot anything, there is a small grocery store about five minutes down the road. Plenty of games inside if it rains, board games, and a ping-pong table. The lake is surprisingly quiet, with more activity on Saturdays. The only frustration I had was because of the carrier we use I could not communicate with the Vacasa people- my texts would not send. It’s OK, because nothing was wrong, I was just trying to answer their questions and I couldn’t. Other than that, it was perfect.

Perfect a weekend ski get away with 3 kids…beautiful views on the lake. A bit remote..but a nice 40 minute ride to Jay Peak.

We very much enjoyed our tranquil setting in this lovely cabin on the lake. The place has many recent updates - bathrooms, a new sitting room, fixtures, etc. - which add to the experience. The location on a peninsula, jutting into a mountain-surrounded pond, is unique and picturesque. We went to Jay Peak, which was 40 minutes away. We enjoyed a fun game of ping pong and whiling away the hours with a good book, overlooking the pond. Thanks for a great stay!

Just caught the last of the leaves turning, weather was nice enough for a kayak trip around tge lake each morning after breakfast and a couple chapters of Stephen King! Perfect, quiet getaway to unplug and relax!!

Well furnished adorable camp within 30 minutes from touristy Stowe. We stayed 2 nights and wish we had booked more! This camp is well equipped with books, board games, ping pong, kayaks, etc. There is no TV, but trust me— you won’t miss it! I almost didn’t want to leave a review to keep this treasure a secret. You won’t regret staying here. By far, one of the best vacation rentals I have ever booked.

Great home for families or adults. Very nice amenities for cooking at home. Good location for skiing or summer recreation. Beautiful lake for water sports and fishing.
