Great view of the lake

Beautiful lake view, directly on the water. House was clean and nice. Located on a quiet dead end street.

A beautiful place, peaceful neighborhood and a lovely view of the lake. Host was so accommodating when we had two special requests . Lots of room inside and out for our group of five people.

For all of you looking to stay in Lorain, please do more research on the area than we did. The area is less desirable than we're accustomed too. The house is on a dead-end street. There was a pickup truck parked immediately in front of the house when we arrived. It was later replaced by a 25-year-old Mercedes Benz coupe that was occupied by a scroungy looking fellow who looked like he was planning on being there a while as he drank from his gallon jug of water. When we returned to the house after dinner, he got out of the car and walked down the block out of sight. When we returned from the beach park, he again walked down the street out of sight. Don't know if he was dealing, or if he was the undercover cop on stakeout. We did not stay to find out. All told our luggage occupied the house for about 3 hours. My family occupied the house for about 10 minutes. We left and checked out and drove to a hotel well outside of Lorain.The house....somewhat better than the atmosphere, but still not really worth the stay. The picnic bench in the photo is totally unusable, unless you would cover the top and the benches with HEAVY padding to prevent splinters. The house was clean, but it definitely smelled old and a bit musty. The only other thing I can really comment on was the fridge. It briefly held our cold items. It was clean. We didn't sit on any of the furniture or beds. The upper deck furniture did not appear to be clean or in good condition.

Plenty of space for your stay. There are extra utensils and condiments in the cupboards and fridge. I enjoyed the K-Cup coffee in the morning overlooking the view of Lake Erie. Overall we had a nice stay. The waterfront is on the edge of a drop off, if you are looking for beach access, it is only one block down. We drove over the the Lakeside access and enjoyed a swim.

The host was great with communication. The property was as nice as it looked in the pics. Very clean and great views of the lake.

The house is lovely, beautiful views of the lake. It had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The owner is a delight to work with and we will definitely be back in the spring. We were close to restaurants on the water . The master bedroom has it's own huge deck overlooking Lake Erie. Very quiet area. Highly recommend this property.
