Lakefront with pool table

we stayed for a long Columbus Day weekend from Friday through Monday. Weather actually held out pretty nicely. Unfortunately, all of the boat rental places were already closed for the season so we weren’t able to do any pontoon rental. The dock also was already pulled out for the season, but that was OK cause we did the fishing right from the lake’s edge. The PROPERTY is as pictured. Our host Sandra was very helpful and available within minutes to answer any questions. The vibe of the house is truly a rustic Lakeside cabin.The house was clean, but there was a lot of clutter in drawers and cabinets. (would suggest removing the brooms and such from the front walkway to a more out of sight area) the outside deck and lower porch light didn’t appear to be working. It was hard to tell because also many light switches in the house are not marked which light that they turn on. One suggestion would be to clearly mark the light switches to which lights they do work for.That would help guests a great deal.The downstairs rec room is definitely a plus for family fun with the pool table, etc. Of note, the bathroom shower door, however, seem to stick and we didn’t want to force it. There is definitely a lot of moisture as one would expect down in the basement so understandably things like that do become an issue overtime.we enjoyed the fire pit two nights in a row.would be great to go back in the summertime for fun on the water. Family, friendly for sure.(must be able to manage steps.)

The property was very dirty, many of the lights in the house and outside did not work. The stairs down to the dock were hazardous and none of the lights worked. Beds were uncomfortable. The place was full of clutter and broken games.

The house was beautiful and a little romantic, exactly what you want in a lakefront cabin in the woods. Location could not be better. Swimming right off the dock (we were there just after Labor Day), watching herons fish at dawn, sipping wine on the deck while the sunset… so relaxing & blissful. 100% recommend!

The sunsets are just amazing and the lake access was perfect. The game room was used every night and was so much fun. It was a perfect week ! Thank you to Sandi for quick response on a few questions I had. Would recommend this house and will be staying here again in the future .

Great Place . Weather was outstanding all week. Sandy was so helpful and answered any questions we had. She was always available no matter what . House was great for 4 adult’s and 2 children. Fully stocked with anything you would need. Great location. Plenty to do around the area. Dock was great for our boat. I cant say enough good things about the house, area and location.Sunsets were amazing. Thanks again Sandy.

Our five days at this property was the perfect get away with a view you can't beat. The home is nestled into a small community which was nice for a morning or evening strolls. It was also super convenient to be within walking distance of The Boat House. Sandra was super responsive and accommodating making our stay feel even that much more welcoming. If its your first time at Lake Wallenpaupack, you'll enjoy the fact you are a short drive from several restaurants, shops, and grocery stores. Would recommend to anyone looking for an awesome vacation.

A great place to spend all day outside swimming in the lake and hanging out on the dock!

We had a lovely week at Sandi's Lake Wallenpaupack Lakefront. Sandi couldn't have been more helpful and responsive and the house had everything you could ask for. Don't hesitate to stay at this beautiful lakefront house! You'll have a great time....

My friends and I had a great time here! The house was spacious, clean, and in a perfect location. The pictures don’t do it justice. Checking in and out was a breeze. I’d highly recommend staying here for a nice relaxing trip.

1) Sandra was a terrific host - she was super responsive with all questions and flexible with check-in. 2) The house was perfect setup for our family of 5 and had a great updated cabin vibe. We had so much fun with the rec room with a pool table and blackjack/roulette/craps table. The deck had a great view and nothing beats being on the water. Only downside was no washer/dryer (but my fault I didn’t notice that in the listing). 3) great location near restaurants and town.and places to rent a boat. Would definitely Stay again.

We had a great time and loved hanging out on the dock. The house had plenty of activities for the family to do in the evening too. It was very roomy. We would definitely stay here again.

The property is in a great location right on the lake. Close to good restaurants, rental locations, rail trail ride, etc. Sandra is a wonderful host. Quick to answer any questions that we had. Unfortunately, Mother Nature did not cooperate our last night there, and we lost power. That was out of the control of Sandra, but she was quick to assess the problem and also provide an update. All in all, we had a great stay!

House was perfect! Sandra answered any questions we had immediately. Close to 2 great restaurants, boat rental and town was close by. Definitely would stay again.
