Place was great. Clean and comfortable. Would recommend. Only negative is I wish we were forewarned about oven not working. We wouldn’t have bought groceries to cook in oven.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hammen Lake House. The cabin has amazing views; the pictures do not disappoint. The cabin was within 5 minutes to stores but in a quiet, remote and serene area. It was a great place to unwind from the hustle and bustle of the day-to-day. Austin was quick to respond to any inquiries. We would not hesitate to stay here again should we travel back to the area in the future.

We had a nice time reconnecting with friends at this cabin. It was equipped with everything we needed for our stay and then some. There was a traditional coffee maker and a Keurig along with supplies for both. There was no WiFi and our phones did not work well either. The view was lovely and it was possible to carefully walk down to the water where you would be able to put in kayaks or tubes if you wanted. The immediate drive in and out was quite steep, but if you gun it to get out, you can make it in any type of car. We parked 3 cars fairly easily. There was a couple staying in the adjacent small cabin who parked one car. I don’t think we could have fit anyone else. The back decks to the 2 cabins are connected, but both cabins have separate seating areas. Unfortunately, we had to endure smoking from the other renters while we were all outside together. Just fyi, there are no window coverings on the shared spaces inside the house. We had to turn the hot water on when we realized we were only getting cold in the showers! But we figured it out. We had a raccoon who was a nightly visitor in the back and was used to being fed. He was cute, but I don’t recommend petting him haha! Upstairs there was a deck from the bedroom, but beware of the wasps out there! There were too many to count, so we didn’t ever use it. There was a grocery store nearby as well as a Pizza Hut and a very good Mexican restaurant. Campbell Point Marina is also down the way. Fun stay!

We stayed in shell knob for 4 nights and it was amazing. The views from this home are quite stunning. The amenities are perfect. There was nothing we needed and didn’t have. Quite impressed that we were provided new, full size shampoo, conditioner, enough toilet paper, dish soaps, trash bags, etc. too often these days you get to your vrbo and have to go to the store for a roll of toilet paper and salt and pepper, not here, these owners have gone above and beyond to make sure you have all the conveniences for your stay. We will be back!!! Noteworthy, if you need more space, there is the cutest little guesthouse steps away from the main house. I somehow missed that when I was booking or we would have rented both. I’ll save you some time - to lock the door, type in the code and turn the lock. To unlock it’s the same thing but turn opposite direction. If you have issues, the owners will reach out immediately so be sure and let them know if anything needs repair !!!

Great location, very relaxing, 2-balcony’s for chilling out. Centrally located between Eureka Springs and Branson. Close to Roaring River Park (a must see) Last year we had an issue with microwave and was replaced in a day or two. Host was very responsive and friendly. Home has everything you need. Only complaint is there are no blinds or curtains to give privacy from smaller adjacent home. Highly recommend bringing a sheet to hang up at night is what we learned after our first stay here. Wish I could tell the host to consider adding curtains or blinds off the dining/living area. Other than that, AWESOME

We loved this place. It had everything we needed. We used the paddle board and floated on the lake a couple days. Perfect area for floating with very little boat/ski traffic. The town it self is adorable and the people in the town couldn’t be friendlier.

We had a wonderful time in this home. It was very clean and close to everything. With 8 of us, there was plenty of room for everyone. The dining table made for a perfect place to play games also. The outside table was where we ate some of our meals enjoying the outdoors.

The house upon entering smelled like moth balls . Whoever took the pictures of the house was a wonderful photographer ! The kitchen and living room was very small. The dining room and the master bedroom was huge . The back yard to the lake was horrid . In the pictures it looks like you can walk right out to the lake . Not so much, it is a steep downhill unsteady rocky walk down . There is a fire pit but good luck if you want to sit around it with your family and roast some smores . It was the same way it sat on a steep down grade slope over grown with weeds . To get to the house was pretty scary as well . Hopefully you have good brakes . It says you can comfortably fit 4 cars and a boat trailer . Maybe if your trailer is a toy car. Living room had one reclining chair and a sofa. So hopefully only one wants to prop their feet up. I don’t like leaving bad comments but wasn’t impressed with this house .

Great week with my mom and sister. We enjoyed the peace and quiet, had a friendly raccoon and neighborhood dog stop by. A few suggestions…tell guests if it is cabin A or B, it didn’t say in the email. Also instructions on how to unlock/lock the door would be helpful. Little things like you have to pull the door toward you to get the deadbolt to lock on your way out, thermostat was way off… we kept it on 80 and the temp stayed at 70 in the cabin. My sister would have liked to have a list of channels and instructions on how to use the 2 tv remotes. Only improvement would be if it had a small dock to fish, swim, and tie up a boat.
