House is amazing, location is perfect even if you don’t have a boat. Dock swimming, outdoor living area and grill and absolutely amazing hosts that were great to work with. Been going to Norris for 20 years and this is BY FAR the best house we’ve ever rented.

Nice home, good space, plenty of items for use. Homeowner communicated well, provided information, and had a beautiful home with nice touches. Would come back again!

We visit Norris often as a family of four, but wanted to bring our extended family this time. We were drawn to this home for its location and price and were thrilled with our choice. The owners were extremely helpful and communicative and the home was perfect for our group of 12. We loved the ice maker and extra fridge and especially the outdoor spaces! Thank you for a memorable weekend!

We really enjoyed the house, the property, the dock & all the lake had to offer. The house worked really well for the 8 adults & 6 kids/teens during our stay. The house was very clean & I don't think I realized from the pictures how nice the covered decks were - we spent a ton of time on the upper deck in the mornings & evenings outside the kitchen playing games & enjoying the view. This was our first visit to Norris Lake, and we didn't realize how clear the water would be! It was easy to swim right from the dock & we used the kayaks almost every day. We rented a pontoon from Springs Dock for 2 of the days, which was an easy process. We did reserve it a few weeks ahead of time to make sure they had one available. We went tubing, boated to a jumping rock, a rope swing & boated to dinner one night at Shanghai. A few tips for those coming to the house in the future- the area is quite remote, and the nearest large grocery store is about 30 minutes away, so plan accordingly. The main options for eating out are the marinas, & they are very casual, family-friendly and a lot of fun. Janelle did message before the stay letting us know they provide a 'starter supply' of things like toilet paper, kitchen trash bags, etc, but it is very much just a starter supply, so you definitely need to bring these items. There was also no dish soap/Dawn provided, so bring that if you plan on hand washing anything. Small details, though, everyone from ages 10 to 75 in our group had a blast!

House was perfect and close to everything

We stayed for a week and the property was perfect. Driveway to the home was not too steep. Boat dock and deck were great for hanging out and swimming. Location of home was in close proximity to Shanghai Marina and located in a private hollow with calm waters. Home was great, outdoor living was perfect, and the group had a blast. Highly recommend this spot.

Great house in a great location! We were a group of 15 and the house accommodated us perfectly. The covered deck is awesome. Great place to enjoy dinner as a group after a long day on the water! Also was a perfect place to hang out on our 1 rain day. Communication by the host is great, they really went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed before and after we arrived. Highly recommend staying here.

The property was nice although learned very quickly that the steep path to the dock was difficult. We would not rent again for this reason. We had an ant problem all week along the kitchen counter along the window. Annoying! Property was comfortable and fully equipped.
