This cabin had everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was completely stocked with paper goods, cleaning things, and dishes. We used the fire pit out back, one of the charcoal grills, and the patio dining table. We did not use the kayaks due to time constraints, but they looked like fun. The only hard part was climbing the stairs! But we know it is necessary due to flooding concerns. Really well-kept and worth the price.

Beautiful piece of flat property which is not usually the case on Lake James. Great for people that love nature. My dogs also loved it there! Kayaks were a great addition. Easy access to swim in cove. House was very comfortable as well. Love the screened-in porch.

This is an immaculate home with many amenities. We have had 2 wonderful stays here WTH granddaughters who love the lake, creek and nearby mountain activities.

This is our fourth time staying at this property and it is an excellent stay every time! This is becoming an annual tradition and my children look forward coming to this property every summer! The property is beautiful and well-maintained. We love the serene environment and the quiet secluded nature of the cove. Not only do we have a fantastic time, swimming, kayaking, and fishing in the lake, the addition of the creek to explore is a highlight for the whole family. The house is always clean and comfortable; in addition the property is well appointed with everything you’ll need during your stay. Communication with the property managers is always easy and friendly. We can’t say enough good things about our experience renting this property!

Very much enjoyed our long weekend at the lake. Appreciated the property managements upfront notice of property conditions after last years storms for us to be prepared (bring your mud shoes) and owners extra efforts to make sure lake and kayaks were accessible and usable. House was clean and cozy.

This was our fourth time staying in this house on Lake James. Each tme gets better. You can walk into the lake, swim in the quiet cove, sit by the water, rest on the deck. Just wonderful.

We had a wonderful stay! The house is beautiful and was very clean and organized. We had everything we needed. The water was great for kayaking and swimming. During the weekend, the cove gets a little heavy with boat traffic but it didn't bother us. Also, make sure to wear big spray to avoid the ticks and chiggers. There are wooded areas around so that's to be expected. Overall, we loved the location and would love to stay again one day!

This was a very nice lake property for young children learning to swim, kayak, and snorkeling.
