Lakefront New London Home: Dock, Fire Pit + Views!

We loved the location and the hosts were so easy to communicate with.

Very nice, clean and well stocked/furnished home. Cozy, but with plenty of room. Nice neighborhood. Lake access is a bit of an understatement!We really enjoyed our stay, from morning coffee, trips out to local food and activities, to evening fishing off the dock. Thank you!

We had a great time with our family enjoying the lake house. Had lots of room for everyone and would recommend to those wanting to rent a lake house. The dock was large with room to park the boat.

What a wonderful home and beautiful location on Badin Lake. This home is very charming and has excellent views from the large dock or from the enclosed patio upstairs. The host are wonderful and very accommodating. Whether you are visiting for much need relaxation or enjoying all the activities the lake has to offer this home has it all. My wife and I will booking here again!

Oh we loved it so much The house was so clean everything organized all the dishes that you needed pots and pans my grandkids enjoyed it at the lake and a little fire pit making s’mores. We will be enjoying coming back again real soon.

The house was well-equipped, and very well maintained. The deck and dock were overlooking a wonderful lakeview. Very peaceful neighborhood. Brenda was great to work with from beginning to end. This was a last-minute reservation, and Brenda went over and above to accommodate our party. Thank you for a lovely place to relax.

The open floor plan of the kitchen, dining area, and living room were great for our family Thanksgiving. We did not fish or do other water activities, but enjoyed the decks and views tremendously. The enclosed porch with all around windows was nice for views too , while providing indoor comfort. The house HVAC worked perfectly for us through the cool days and cold nights.The original structure built in the 1940s has been thoroughly updated and expanded. It keeps some of the original character in the stairways and lower level.Badin Lake has a pretty steep bank in this area so the two story house fits in nicely. A large gravel parking area in front also has a slight slope to it, from the paved street. Fishermen or boaters will really enjoy this location and amenities.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay the host was amazing. Very attentive to our needs. View was incredible. Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay for a week retreat.

House is much larger than I expected. There is plenty of room and hangout spaces; we never felt like we were on top of each other. The inside of the house is well taken care of with great upgrades; really making the place feel FANCY. The outside space with covered back porch, fire pit and dock really made hanging out outdoors an awesome experience. Give this place a CHANCE, IT WON’T LET YOU DOWN!

We had such a nice stay at this lake house. We stayed a week and a half and we can't wait to go back again. Some of our favorite features were a dock where we could tie off our pontoon boat, a ladder into the water for swimming off the dock, and best of all, once you exit the basement door, you are only a few steps away from the dock and the water. The small backyard area is flat and level and the dock is so close to the house. We loved being able to quickly go back and forth from the dock or boat to the house when we needed more supplies or a quick sandwich!We cooked almost every night and the kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, and utensils. In addition, we grilled several nights and it was nice to have access to the grill just outside of the basement walk-out. When we weren't on the boat or in the water, we enjoyed relaxing in the covered water-side porch area. There was a swing, some lawn chairs, and a small refrigerator. Also, on our one rainy day, we were able to use the smart tv to watch any of our streaming services or use the free wifi. Finally, it was nice to have access to a washer and dryer, while nobody wants to do laundry on vacation, we did need to regularly wash our beach towels. Brenda was a wonderful hostess and responded quickly to any questions!!

We enjoyed our stay so much that I want to plan another visit as soon as possible, so we can stay longer. It is close to the airport, easy to find and well stocked with everything needed. The beds are super comfortable! I enjoyed relaxing on the front glassed in porch, the side porch next to the beautiful flowers and the fabulous dock. I felt like I was on a private retreat.

Our family had the best time here over a long weekend! There’s so much to do and our boys loved every second. Fishing, jumping off the dock for a swim, drying off on the dock and relaxing w a cold beverage-we couldn’t have asked for a better time! We ended the evening with a gorgeous view of the sunset over the lake and s’mores over the fire. The accommodations were over the top, cozy, and like a home away from home. It has everything you need! We felt like we were away on vacation and it was just a short drive from Charlotte. We will definitely stay here again!
