Lakefront Minocqua Getaway: Dock, Game Room!

Wonderful house in a fantastic setting. The outside desk was amazing.

Thank you for sharing your home with us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and appreciated all the amenities. The large kitchen was perfect for our family of 12, making meal preparations enjoyable for everyone. The basement playroom was a great space to break up our group and keep the kids entertained. The beds were comfortable, and the bedroom layouts and arrangements suited our group perfectly.We especially loved the dock, which allowed us to do a lot of fishing, and the firepit, grill, and gas deck fireplace were all easy to use and kept clean. A few thoughtful touches like Tide Pods and dryer sheets were a pleasant surprise and made us feel welcome.Overall, the kitchen was well-stocked, the dock and kayaks were a hit with everyone, and our stay was truly enjoyable. We appreciate the opportunity to stay and look forward to visiting again!

Our extended family (ages 4 - 74) enjoyed staying in this spacious, well-stocked home on a peaceful wooded lot with lake access. Our stay was very comfortable. We had great weather and spent most of our time outside but enjoyed also having a game room for the kids to play in. Saw lots of fish and some turtles from the dock. Property manager was very friendly!

This house is beautiful! We brought people ages 8 months to almost 90 years. Everyone had a great time. The house is huge! There were plenty of bathrooms and beds for everyone. The neighborhood and lake were also peaceful and quiet. The house had everything we could possibly need, even some supplies that we had forgotten. It was a wonderful place to stay.

The property was stellar meeting all of our needs for a corporate retreat. The hosts were responsive and even check in on us at the beginning of the stay to ensure that we were happy. Thank you and well done!

The property was great for our needs. We anticipated more family staying with us. But, the 5 of us had a great time. Fishing and relaxing before and after the wedding was perfect. Will keep this property in mind if/when we return to the area.

Perfect house for our 50th wedding anniversary celebration with kids and grandkids. Clean and well stocked. The kids loved fishing off the dock and using the kayaks. Jeff was super helpful when we had questions. Great time overall.

We escaped for a couple of days after the hustle and bustle of the Christmas holiday. Unfortunately, Mother Nature gave us warmer weather and little to no snow but we made the most of it! We spent a day in Wausau skiing and tubing and otherwise enjoyed time at the house and exploring Minocqua. The house is beautiful. It is updated and on the lake. There is plenty of room for everyone to have their own space in our group. The kitchen was well stocked with gadgets and appliances but unfortunately though there was a coffeemaker the coffee pot was not there. We did go to the local gas station every morning for our caffeine. The house was very clean but could use a little dusting of the vents and the overhead light fixtures. There is a large driveway for vehicles. If there had been snow, we probably would have reached out to see if we could park in the garage. We were nervous by an unexpected knocking of the door after dark on our first night when the host notified us that the info in the book (and email) was incorrect and not updated with the correct host name or info. Overall, this is a lovely home and we would consider staying again! The basement has games, foosball, a large tv and ping pong. The laundry room was helpful after a day of skiing and tubing. There is plenty of seating for dining and the family room area is comfortable. If there had been snow, the house is located close to the Minocqua Winter Park. It is not far from Walmart. Highly recommend.

Enjoy the place very much

This house was nice and large for our big family. It was fairly clean upon arrival although we did find a dirty bandage and used pad in a bedroom windowsill, a dryer full of laundry and lots of cobwebs, bugs and dirt/dust on the floors. We had an issue with the water heater and when we called the property contact we got no response and no return call from our message about lack of hot water. I also would have expected a bigger pier for such a large house. The pier can barely hold two or three people and there is nowhere to sit and hang out down by the lake. The kayaks were nice, but had a broken paddle which essentially worked as a half paddle with sharp edges for each kayak. The other boat available had no paddle, was filled with water and basically unuseable. The steps to the basement are extremely crooked with cracks through to the basement on the edges and felt about to break or fall through. The neighbors are lovely and were very friendly. We would stay again, but it would not be our first choice. It was not awful, but for the price, it was disappointing.
