Lakefront Luxury - 1 MI to Buckhorn Boat Landing

The home was beautiful. We had lots of space for our group of 13 and we're able to have meals together and cook together. Nearly every need was met. Internet was a little slow but that helped with the teens!

Our family was blessed to spend an entire weekend at this wonderful place!! It is a grandparents' dream to have all your children and grandchildren together under one roof. Our dream was fulfilled in this clean, spacious, and beautiful home! It had everything we could possibly need to have an amazing time, including a well-stocked kitchen and even a coffee bar! Our host was extremely gracious and answered any and all questions immediately. We couldn't have asked for more and are already talking about doing it again next year!!

Booked this property for a fall girls' weekend. The property is beautiful, and the backyard has so much to offer! Beds were very comfortable, and there was lots of room to gather as a group. The host was very accommodating, and he was easy to communicate with. Would definitely consider booking here again!

Great family get together.

We loved this place! We had a large group and there was plenty of anything and everything we needed-dishes, s'mores making, seats, fridge space, outdoor activities, etc.! It's a beautiful home with a beautiful view! We'd definitely rent this place again!

This property has it all! So clean from top to bottom. Everything you need to use the kitchen. Outside amenities are endless. Paddle boards, kayaks, floating pad, toys for the little ones to use in the sand and much more. Fire pit near the bottom deck and one on the second level deck. Be sure and take advantage of this beautiful property! We’ll be back next year!

We had a great time! House was clean, large enough space for our family. Plenty of water/beach toys for all ages. Great communication with the owner! We will be back for sure!

My family truly enjoyed this large and airy house next to a perfectly size Lake. The balcony and patio were wonderful perches to chat on and watch the kids splash in the lake below. We appreciated the ability to use the kayaks, Lilly pad, and paddle boards, as well as many toys and games. The house is situated within a quiet wooded landscape near larger lakes, state parks and many delightful restaurants. A lovely place to connect with friends or family.

Truly the best cabin getaway for anyone with kids. The home is large with enough bedrooms/beds to accommodate our large group (10 adults, 10 kids ages 2-7) and is stocked with a bunch of water and sand toys. The lake is so clean and swimmable, and because it's not very deep it is relatively warm - perfect for kids who are in and out of the water. The owner is also very accommodating and responsive, letting us know when we could check in early and allowing us to stay and play at the beach after check out.

When we arrived at the property we were a little surprised by the amount of people surrounding us on the beach area, but quickly felt very comfortable as everyone was so kind and fun! The house has a lot of space for everyone, great sized bedrooms, and easy access to the beach. We loved the kayaks, swimming, making S’mores, playing cards at night, and watching a movie together when it rained. The kids enjoyed catching little sunfish from the beach area too. The property owner was very friendly and responsive to all our needs and questions. We will cherish this family getaway forever.

The is was our second year in a row at Jim’s property. We liked it so much the first time, we immediately rented it again after we returned home. So much to do for all ages on the lake - kept everyone busy for hours!!!! House was large enough for our big group of 16 ranging from 2 years old to retirement age! You will love it!

This property was great. Very spacious for large families

Property is located on a small lake with 20-25 homes. Each home has its own sand beach. We had 5 children under the age of 4. The beach is perfect for the kids under 4 to play. It is perfect for the older kids in our group up to 5th grade as they could kayak, play on a mat, swim to the island or the platform to jump off. They met kids their age at neighboring properties to play with. We all enjoyed the yard and fire pit each night (without rain). The home provided rooms for all of the adult kids. And a fully stocked closet of games was entertaining each night. This is one time each year the cousins can get together. We will be back!!!

This home was fantastic for our family group of 16 from ages 70 down to 4 years old . The home owners were very approachable and quick to respond to any questions. The house was very clean ,mattresses were very comfortable, plenty of hot water. Fully stocked kitchen and lots of games for inside the house and outside games as well. The kids loved the paddle boards and kayaks and spent endless hours on the water mat. Even on the one day it rained they were still out on the water. The neighbors were so welcoming to large groups and to kids. We had a great week of laughter and giggles! 5 Stars all around Hope to come back and do this again . Paul and Rosie

Our stay at this stunning beach house was absolutely amazing! The interior was spotless, featuring a warm and inviting fireplace, and fully equipped with everything we needed to cook and feel at home. The deck was pure luxury, offering breathtaking views of the peaceful lake, with its ever-changing skies filled with fluffy clouds.Outside, the fun never stopped—kayaks, paddleboards, and a variety of water equipment were at our fingertips, making it so easy to enjoy the lake. The sandy beach was perfect for unwinding, and the cozy firepit area made for memorable evenings.This house felt like a perfect getaway—clean, well-equipped, and surrounded by natural beauty. Highly recommend!

My family and I had a great stay at this home! The house was impeccably clean, spacious, and fully stocked with everything we needed. The EV charging outlet in the garage was a great convenience. We also loved spending time by the lake, which was clean and well-maintained. The provided lake equipment added to the fun. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

I rented this home for a girls weekend and this did not disappoint. The home was clean, well stocked and comfy. The owners have thought of everything! Detailed instructions and good communication with the owner made this stay run very smooth. The outside was so relaxing and beautiful views of the lake. We are already talking about how perfect this would be to rent again.

New, spacious and clean. Plenty of room for our extended family. Enough room for food and cooking. Many spaces to relax on the property. Beach and water great for the kids, deck for the adults and fire pit for all! Very nice place!

This spot is excellent across the board. Well stocked house, super clean, great location, responsive host contact. The sandy beach is ideal for kids to burn energy in and out of the water all day. Nothing but positive things to say!

We stayed at the property for a reunion and it was a perfect fit! The house was as very clean, easily accessible, and had everything we needed. There are lots of cooking supplies already at the property and water toys (kayaks, stand up paddle boards, water mats, etc.) The host, Jim, was very responsive and a delight to work with. 10/10 would recommend!

James was the best host. There were ample accommodations for our extended family of 18, including an infant. Located on a lake with a nice sandy beach where we could kayak, paddle board, fish, & swim! There was also a lily pad & water toys. The grill worked as represented. Firepit was enjoyable (until the mosquitoes came uninvited). House was comfortable temperature-wise last week. Parking was not an issue. Kitchen was well stocked with trash bags, and there were plenty of dishes, silverware, & pots & pans. We would definitely love to come back!
