Lakefront, Kayaks, 2.5 acres, March Dates Open

We celebrated my mom turning 85. We had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Great host and excellent, calming views!!

The facility was well kept and the location on the lake was very nice. There were a few things that kept this from being 5 star for my partner and I. The main issue - we did not realize we were dealing with double beds in both bedrooms. I'm 6'1' and a big guy. We couldn't sleep in one of those small beds together. So I took one bed she took the other. We did not study the photos closely enough . It never occurred to us the beds would be so small for a VRBO property.There were some things we had to figure out on our own that should have been easily mentioned to us. We were sitting on the outside deck in the evening looking at the beautiful Vista but the motion activated floodlight kept coming on every time we would move to drink a beverage. It took me the next day to realize there was a switch to turn that off inside. It was very annoying to say the least and ruined the evening for us the first evening. We also found it unusual that the kitchen didn't have trash receptacle but we found it the next day when we saw that it was a pull out under the sink. The host was very helpful and worked with our schedule when I had a death in my family that would interfere with our original planned stay. I would actually rate this as a 4.5 star stay for us. We did enjoy ourselves and it was a very quite and peaceful location,very clean and well kept.

The property was absolutely beautiful and relaxing. A perfect getaway for our family. It was like Disney Land for our pup, she ran around everywhere. We fished, swam, and kayaked. Thank you to the host. The only suggestion I would have is where to take the trash when you need to take it out? However, we had a great time.

Very nice place and relaxing. Cool breeze off lake and enjoyed seeing deer come out of woods at dusk. Was dissapointed the paddle boat had cracks in bottom of it. Not sure if there was another fiberglass luning but we didn't try it out afraid it would leak. The paddle boat was a selling point when we booked. Maybe property owners hadn't checked it out recently. Also, the life jackets were cracked and had holes in them.

This was a beautiful place. Easy to find, private, sunset views , and clean home that had everything needed. My family loved watching the water, fireflies and even got to see a deer. Great get away from the big city life.

Quiet, peaceful, breezy. Just what we wanted. Beds very comfortable. AC works great!

Family wedding in area over the weekend. We had great time with property on River. Easy access for small river boat. Launched bass boat 11 minutes away at public ramp (all new!). Great house and all the amenities. I have not seen so many fire flies since I was a kid. We took our dog with us. So many small, personal touches that made the property a stand out!

Me and my husband, stayed here to enjoy our mini-moon right after we were married and it was lovely! Beautiful property and an easy drive to downtown Granbury square. I almost don’t want to share how much we enjoyed for fear of making the place too popular that we can’t revisit again!

The property is amazing when you go down the drive and see what looks like a stressed persons dream.Walking in…. It just got better and better.The property manager …..FANTASTIC is an understatement!Very flexible when they can be.We love it and positive wet might just bring the kids

We enjoyed our time here. What a beautiful and quiet place to stay. We only stayed for a couple of busy days but we did get to play outside and enjoy the kayaks. Definitely recommend staying here if you need some quiet time to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

We had a wonderful time, a couple of geese visited. And there was a cool breeze over the water, we got to sit and enjoy the beautiful lake. The house was wonderful and everything that we needed to make the stay comfortable.

God blessed us with this last minute opening! The property was so peaceful, and fun with different outdoor games to play. The inside of the home was so cozy and welcoming. Beds were comfortable, the shower pressure was awesome and the kitchen was easy to work with. Most of all, it was the perfect place content for our family to spend quality time together. We will definitely be coming back!

We stayed for. 2 nights and loved it! It’s very secluded with lots of area to play and hang outside. We had a cold snap so it was also nice to be inside in the warm house looking out at the lake. And the sunrise was spectacular.

Property was quiet, weather was perfect, house was comfy, and the wildlife was fun to watch!

A much needed week of solitude away from urban noise and congestion to give me time for spiritual regeneration, prayer, reflection, remembering and the opportunity for serious reading. Tranquil Getaway (Lakefront House) provided just what I needed.

This property is such a sweet little spot. We enjoyed the yard, swing and beautiful views. Would stay again. Thank you for letting us enjoy your place!

This cabin was cozy and clean. We had a wonderful time kayaking and relaxing on the property. We would definitely stay here again.

The pictures for this property do not do it justice. It is so beautiful and peaceful there and just the perfect setting to get away from every day life and enjoy time together. We will definitely want to stay here again. The host answered questions as needed and there were no problems with the rental at all.

We loved our stay! This was such a beautiful getaway with our kids. We did some fishing, campfire s’mores and games. The home was very clean and had everything we needed. We will be back!
