Boasting the best modern cabin vibes both inside and out, this stylish retreat is more than ready to assist in making mountain memories to last a lifetime! Sitting right on the bank of Lake Rescue, there will be no delay in summer fun with a private dock, kayaks, paddleboards, and more to really soak up the lakeside lifestyle. Come winter, the skiers of the group will absolutely fall in love with this location as well, as Okemo Mountain Resort is just four miles south offering a wide array of ski runs for all experience levels and Killington is 17 miles north. Downtown Ludlow is also near the mountain where you can stock up on groceries, grab a bite to eat from a local restaurant, or pop into shops to snag a souvenir.
Though the exterior will charm even the most design-oriented of guests, step inside and you will immediately be greeted by the rustic exposed ceilings, homey hardwood floors, and mountain decor that will allow everyone to feel welcome and relaxed in no time. Not to mention, the well-equipped, full kitchen complete with a gas range, beautiful white countertops, and all of the appliances needed to whip up tasty meals will be the perfect touch to make this an ideal home away from home. After a full day of skiing in winter or kayaking in summer, everyone will love gathering for a movie night in the living room or stepping out to the back deck to watch the sunset with a favorite cocktail in hand. With four bedrooms and two baths, this place is well-suited for two couples or a large family. The home also has a dedicated office and a desk set up in each bedroom, making it ideal for remote learning or work.

Very scenic lakefront home that was great for our family. It was the off season (early November) so the dock wasn’t on the water but the views were beautiful and the home was very cozy. Convenient to Ludlow shops and restaurants. Would definitely recommend.
We absolutely loved the cozy cabin for our weekend getaway. I loved the kayaks and outdoor patio area. Our family appreciated the high end bedding. It make for a great nights rest!
We had a great vacation at this Ludlow home. It was very clean and we enjoyed being right on the water with plenty of kayaks available. The drive up to the home was a bit steep, but worth the lake view once you get there.
The house was lovely and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the kayaks and fire pit (bring your own firewood). We couldn’t use the deck because it was dirty and the furniture was soaked. The lake was beautiful. Wish the dock had not been pulled out for the winter yet. Overall we really enjoyed the house. Thank you!
House has everything you need and place is beautiful - photos make it look bigger than it is; path to lake is steep
Beautiful views from the top of lake rescue. Very cute cabin, perfect for family to get away. It was a huge plus that they allowed dogs! Communal living spaces could have been cleaner, bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean. Would definitely stay here again.
The stairs down to the water were very long and steep. Some of our guests couldn't go down to the water. There was no yard. The fire pit is basically in the parking area. There was garbage all over the yard, likely from raccoons. The house looked clean on the inside but there was garbage and socks under the couch.
This is the second consecutive year our group stayed at this house. It’s a great house that comfortable sleeps 2 families of 4. The lake is the big draw. The dock was improved this year and was larger than last year which was appreciated. The use of kayaks and paddle boards is wonderful. The one issue we had was that the outside trash can was knocked over (raccoon), leaving a mess for us to clean up upon arrival. The raccoon returned at 2am to knock it over again. Luckily, I had a bungee cord that was able to secure the lid for the rest of our weekend. It would’ve been nice for the property manager to have taken care of the trash situation in a more effective manner.
Our family really enjoyed our escape to this cabin. It was so well decorated and had everything we needed. Super cozy!! The deck has amazing views. I am going to miss waking up there!!
Beautiful lake house, organized and charming. Quiet side street location but minutes to Okemo and state parks for hiking and the dogs. We absolutely loved it.
I would highly recommend this lovely location. The living room overlooks a lake, and the owners have thought about all the details to make nice day comfortable. No complaints here!
The house is close to Ludlow and the surrounding mountains and foliage were amazing!
This house was great. We have 4 kids ranging in age from 10 to 17, and they all had a blast at the lake. All the amenities were fantastic, the house was comfortable, well equipped, clean and peaceful. The town is lovely, and being able to have it dog vacation with us was an added bonus. 10/10 we would rent this for vacation again... And hope to!!
Just as advertised. Right on the lake, plenty of water toys. The only thing missing was AC. I would definitely return and I highly recommend it.
We loved it! For being our first family vacation on a lake, we did quite well ;) Having the lake access right on the property simplifies the vacation. And having water equipment right in the house allowed us to enjoy the lake right away. The view from the balcony first thing in the morning was breathtaking. The house is very comfortable for families. Thumbs up!
We had two families of 4 staying together and found the space to be very comfortable for all of us. The kids loved the bunks, and the adults enjoyed view of the lake from the bedrooms. The bed were comfortable, and having two bathrooms was really nice for the 8 of us. Both baths are showers, so make a note if you need a bath for your younger kids. The best part of the house and the biggest draw for us was the lake. There is a dock for the kids to swim from. There were also paddle boards, kayaks, and a lot of life jackets for the whole family. The water is clear enough to spot fish from the back deck. “The kids loved the comfy couch and mostly everything,” says my 6 year old. As the cook, I liked the kitchen. It wasn’t large, but the propane burners were nice and the appliances were good quality. Plenty of dishware, utensils, and Tupperware. The fridge isn’t huge, so if you’re staying more than a weekend of few days, you may need to make a couple of trips to the grocery store. Not a big deal though with a few options a short drive away. We loved the proximity to town when we wanted to be in civilization. We also loved the peace and quiet when we wanted to feel far away from it all. It’s a great spot to hear the loon calls and spot eagles soaring overhead. Highly recommended stay!
The only down side was the dock was not out so it was hard to get in and out of the kayak and some of the patio furniture was under the deck but that was ok and one other thing that wax really not a big deal but just loud they were taking down a pine tree across from us and it was very loud
