Stayed Jul 19, 2025The house itself was perfect for our large group, but we were not able to swim or be in the lake the whole week due to high levels of E. coli from the large amount of ducks, geese & swans on the lake. The lake had been ruled unsafe for swimming since July 1, 2025 & we were not informed of it prior to arrival. We traveled 1/2 hour to 1 hour daily for swimming each day there which was not at all what we expected. The geese were so prolific that they left their excrement each night in the dock all over & we would go out with a bucket daily to clear it off to be able to walk safely on the dock for fishing. But the birds & lake were beautiful.

Stayed Jan 31, 2025We came in for a family weekend. The house was a perfect location, near our other family members and on Echo Valley property. The house had everything we needed, including a beautiful frozen lake and snow for sledding. We would highly recommend a stay at this house.

Stayed Jun 30, 2024The setup was beautiful on this small no-wake lake. Beach was sandy but pretty small considering there were so many kayaks, a canoe, and a paddle boat all in the small area. The shallow water around the dock made for great playing for the young kids. And the fishing was fun for those who wanted to try their luck , their were lots of small fish. There aren't any chairs by the beach, you may want to bring your own. The house is full of all the towels you could possibly need, including beach towels. The kitchen is well-stocked with lots of plates and most of what we needed for the week, we did buy foil 9x13 pans for some cooking. To the owners: I would suggest more rugs by the back door and downstairs. It's impossible to come in from the beach or hot tub and not be wet (and sandy). The front door lock and the back door lock were very difficult to lock, you really have to giggle the door to get just the right place for the lock to turn. The grill is a nice Weber natural gas grill but is so rusted inside, replacement parts are easy to obtain, I suggest you do so. Also, the railroad ties acting as a sidewalk from parking area to house are rotting out. There are two of them that are downright dangerous. Also, almost impossible to roll a suitcase over. One last suggestion, add a plastic pan with water near the hot tub that can be used to rinse off feet. People naturally went from the beach to the hot tub and it was difficult to do that without carrying sand in.

Stayed Feb 16, 2024Love the house beautiful, clean well stocked. Beautiful view. The outside hot tub was relaxing. Considering staying again maybe in the summer to enjoy the lake. The only complaint would be the skillets are not non stick…

Stayed Sep 14, 2023Stayed with a group a friends for a golf trip where we played the Gull Lake View courses. House was only 10 to 15 minutes away from most of the courses, Bedford Valley was about 20 minutes away. Had everything we needed for our stay, included great spaces to relax while we weren't at the course. A couple guys even got some fishing and canoeing in.

Stayed Sep 5, 2023This home was perfect for our group of 4 women. Quiet. Lovely. The home was very comfortable with all the amenities. The lake was warm enough so that even though we had rainy cool weather, swimming was great.
