Great location and house was very good. It does need a few more serving dishes in the kitchen. I do wish all homes woul give instuctions for the television sets. Would definitley stay again.

I loved the furnishings and accessibility of appliances. The cleanliness of it as well. Other than the limited use of the amenities of the pool and elevator this house rates as one of my favorite since starting to come down to Hatteras. Had we had full use of the pool and elevator this would be 10 out 10 and definitely worth renting again.

Booked another house but a late maintenance issue resulted in us being reassigned to Lady of the Lake. Great house with everything we wanted plus more. Didn’t realize what a big help the elevator would be when loading and unloading the upper floors. And a nice family of deer (doe and twin fawns) came by to visit a few times and we saw a big buck on the way in one night. Dad, maybe? Recommended.

I won't list all the problems we encountered, but overall what I would say is buyer beware. While the home has wonderful features, it has not been well maintained or cleaned, and many, many attempts to contact the local Vacasa team were ignored completely. Also, there is major construction happening on the lake side so one half of the beautiful view is gone, and the sound/smell of the construction vehicles definitely takes away from enjoyment of the pool/decks. The location, however, is very convenient, and the house has wonderful potential if the maintenance and cleaning are tightened up. **I never leave negative reviews, but I don't think it would be fair to others who may want to stay here not to be honest in this situation.

Overall this house was so nice. One of the nicest homes I’ve stayed at in the Outer Banks. The hot tub and pool setup were amazing. The kitchen was fully stocked with necessary pots, utensils, etc. The bedrooms were great sizes and the beds were very comfortable. Overall the house was fantastic. There were a lot of cockroaches in the house and outside the house. I know of three cockroaches that were in the house for sure. And every night we found cockroaches outside the house. I’ve stayed in different houses in OBX for the past nine years and have only seen a cockroach in one of those houses. This house had a lot of cockroaches. Too many for comfort.

if you look at the pictures on the website, it does not look anything like it actually is the photos were taken years ago. It is getting rundown. The pool was disgusting. We could not even use it all week. Grass was never mowed !!! The plus side was bedrooms were all comfortable to sleep in, the house was clean inside the office staff were very nice and accommodating, but honestly would never go back

We loved the house, the rooms were large and comfortable. It gave us easy access to food fun and shopping. We were 7 adults 2 teenagers and 2 under 10. The pool made it enjoyable, the hot tub and pool table were great additions. Having the mini fridge, sink and mini dish washer on the lower level near pool and hot tub was awesome. Some things need a little love but generally this was a great house.

I recently stayed at this beach house and wanted to share my experience. While the property offers ample space, making it ideal for group trips, there were several issues that impacted our stay. Unfortunately, we found a number of broken items, including refrigerator drawers, dishwasher rack (we had to hand washed everything), the front door handle was falling off, pool table was broken, and more. All of this detracted from the overall experience. The cleanliness left much to be desired, and it was evident that previous renters had not treated the property with the care it deserves. The floors were very sticky. We wanted to deep clean upon arrival due to the lack of cleanliness, but the vacuum was not suctioning. There was a lot of trash sprawled around the outdoor of the house, which was likely blown in from hurricane debby. On a positive note, the bedroom setup was ideal, with the majority of rooms featuring king-sized beds, which added to the convenience and comfort of our stay. The private pool was a highlight of our stay—spacious and perfect for the kids to play, although it did have large stains that affected its overall appearance. The hot tub, on the other hand, seemed to be a recent upgrade and was very nice, providing a great spot for relaxation. Both amenities were enjoyable, despite the minor issues with the pool’s cleanliness. However, the lack of maintenance and respect for the property by previous tenets is obvious.

Was a great place to stay close to grocery store only 5 mins to beach. Hot tub and pool were great. Cleanliness of check in was issue and decks need tlc. But overall stay was great .

The check in process was super easy, the house was in a perfect location, somewhat secluded but still located in a a neighborhood right off of a lake. The only complaint I would have is that there is not a walkable beach close to the house but we found a parking lot about 5 minutes away from the house right across the street from public beach access. Overall I would definitely recommend this house, the beds were SUPER comfortable and we had lots of space to hang out around the house. The owner also was sweet enough to gift us a Food Lion gift card for us to use during the stay! 10/10

Beds were amazing! And house was very clean. Decks need work and pool had stains and slime. For sure need bug spray! Biting flies day and night. Dredging was happening entire week wee were there which was noisy and smelly! Kitchen needs more bakeware no cake pans and more forks. More deck furniture needed. This is not very handicapped accessible as steps to get I house both sides and to pool.
