This cabin is more worn down than it appears in the pictures. A lot of the furniture was worn and torn or broken. The recliner that another review mentioned has definitely not been fixed. Master bed was missing pillows. All blinds in the home were broken and basement rooms didn’t have any light coverings at all. Doors are hard to close and lock. No bath mat in downstairs bathroom. The kitchen has lots of gadgets and anything you could need, if you can find them. The kitchen is so unorganized it’s painful. There was lots of dust and cobwebs. There was no broom and the vacuum did not work well or rather at all. We had to replace multiple light bulbs and even fixed a broken shower. The decks and stairs were not cleared off which made access to the lake difficult. We were using the lake for ice fishing and not having the stairs accessible to use was difficult. If you plan to snowmobile from this home, be advised that there isn’t great parking and fitting anymore than 2 sleds and your trailer won’t happen. Trail access is a 2.5 mile road ride away.We did enjoy the views and the wildlife. Lots of deer and eagles. We made many good meals using the crock pot and the danish waffle maker. Nice clean and accessible laundry room. Overall we enjoyed our stay but the price is outrageous for a worn down cabin. I guess that’s Vilas County prices for ya.

Nice spacious place. There were cobwebs throughout the house hanging down, bathroom needs work on first floor. The doors between bathroom and main bedroom are broken... replace them. Inside liner to shower was filthy. Location great. View great! The recliner in living room was broken. Couch very uncomfortable.

The house was beautiful. The screen porch or the outside porches were where we spent most of our time looking at the lake. The neighborhood was wonderful for walking our dog who loved looking for deer. The kitchen was well equipped. The furniture was comfortable. The bathroom was loaded with towels. Our only issue there was the water pressure was very lacking. There are a few maintenance issues such as part of the deck railing is rotting and needs to be replaced to be safe. The trim on the bathroom door just needs to be reattached. We would certainly stay in this house again. If you have trouble with stairs there are quite a few to the lake. It would also be helpful if the light switches were labeled. We never did find the switch for the lights to the lake...

Beautiful home with gorgeous lakefront. You can’t do much about the stairs, but appreciate the workout!GREAT perch fishing off the dock-enough for dinner. AND my husband caught one angry Muskie!

Amenities were nice. Location great. Eagles perched on a tree in front of the deck. Water pressure poor.

We loved the windows and the peninsula location. We felt as though we were outside even when inside. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen had everything you could want.

We had a great family week in Eagle River. The house was large and fit everyone. The inside was clean and had most everything we needed. There were a lot of steps to the lake but was worth it for the beautiful view. The dock was great to hang out and we had a place to dock our rental boat. My only wish were for better door latches on both bathrooms. Lower level would stick and people were stuck, upper level latch didn't work and there was a hook. Seems like this was mentioned in previous comments. Overall a great house in Eagle River.

Our group of 7 adults and 4 children had a great week. We especially enjoyed our time spent in/on the water. Lots of steps down/up to the lake; several basement lights didn't work; kitchen sink needs working plugs..

Great location and neighborhood. Awesome sleeping arrangements. Outdoor to dock is steep and doors didn’t close well. All and all, I do recommend this property!

Home very spacious for our family vacation. Plenty of beds. Quiet neighborhood. Kitchen had adequate dishes, bowls, bakeware, pots and utensils. Caught some bass, perch and bluegill... some right off dock. Went boating on Chain... saw some eagles and loons. Deer spotted while enjoying morning coffee on deck . A lot of steps to waterfront which is common in this area. We were here Memorial Day week. If you bring a boat, the house is on dead end road and quite tight for backing. Enjoyed our time in Eagle River.
