Lakefront home with private beach, dock, grill, & firepit + SUPs/canoes/kayaks

My family and I recently spent four nights at the cabin. The location was nice. Just a few minutes from town. The layout of the house accommodated us all (group of 13). We enjoyed the yard and spent a lot of time fishing off the dock. When we arrived the interior of the home was clean, however, there were a few areas of concern. The upstairs shower had a wad of hair on the wall, kitchen floor was sticky in spots and the basement bathroom floor contained large spider webs. The exterior of the home could use a power washing, it’s covered in bugs, spider webs and dirt. We were told we could bring our pontoon boat to find out when we got there from neighbors that it is a private lake with no public access, which was huge disappointment. We still made the best of it and enjoyed our time together.

Great place, great view, great location

The lake was very nice, clear and clean. Huge shout out the Gabe that stopped in to clean the beach. Very nice guy! The layout of the house is nice and accommodating. We enjoyed our rental. However, water pressure was lacking. Central air seemed non existent. Floors were sticky and seemed cleaned minimalistic. There was food under the couches from previous use. The description said there were paddle boards for use but there was none. Overall we did enjoy our stay.

We had a great stay! Lots of relaxing, fishing, swimming, kayaking, games, and eating happened during our family’s stay at this great lake house. We would stay again, and we would definitely recommend it!

Overall my friends and I had a blast during our stay. There was plenty of room available to accommodate our 14 man group. A solid lake for ice fishing with beach access was a huge help. We only wish that the listing had slightly better pictures reflecting the stairs that are needed to get to the living room. We have a friend in a chair and it wasn't the end of the world just needed to transfer him every time we left the cabin. Another slight annoyance was instructions on check-out. They seemed a bit vague and not extensive which made me slightly nervous on the level of cleanliness and attention to detail we gave to the place upon leaving. Garbage cans were also full of stuff before we got there so it made it slightly difficult to dispose of our waste.

The location was private and quiet. It was great to have the canoes and paddle board. The rowboat was a hit for the fishermen in our group who caught some bluegills, panfish and even a northern pike. The house was spacious with plenty of beds for everyone and didn’t feel crowded at all. Plenty of areas for games or conversation both inside and out. The only downside was the lack of a/c. It was advertised as having partial a/c but the unit was in a closet and not hooked up. There were several fans that came in handy. All in all everyone enjoyed the property.
