We had a family get together long weekend over President's Day Holiday and everyone enjoyed the home. There is a gorgeous view from the back of the home facing the lake and the mountains in the distance. The large floor to ceiling windows and deck are perfectly situated to enjoy these wonderful views. The home is well stocked and equipped to make meals and dine in on the large dining room table. The home was clean and well furnished with comfortable chairs and beds. No significant negatives, but a few little quirks detract slightly from leaving a 5 star review. The main floor lacks a bathroom so the person sleeping in the main floor bedroom needs to trek downstairs or upstairs to use the rest room. The main floor bedroom is large enough for a full sized bed or possibly even a queen but only has a twin bed. The upstairs loft is half enclosed into a master suite, but the other half is an open layout with a queen bed; the person(s) sleeping there lack privacy. The lower level bathroom gets cold but there is a portable space heater to use if you wish. The dishwasher button labels are worn off so you need to use trial and error to operate (it's also a junior sized unit as opposed to a regular full sized one).
Great location, beautiful view. If I may the thermostat should be placed on the bottom floor instead of couple of feet from the fireplace. When the set heat is satisfied, the thermostat stop pumping heat leaving the bottom floor very cold.
We absolutely loved staying at this cozy house in November. We had the fireplace going, loved the brown leather furniture, and enjoyed the large table as we looked at the snow capped mountains. Everywhere you looked you could see the water- just wow! The proximity to North Conway and Tuckerman brewery made for some short fun outings. A great weekend!
The layout of the house is a little odd but beautiful home and the location is amazing! They had everything there we needed for our visit and the home was very clean! The stairs going downstairs were a little hidden when we opened the door they were right there so be careful. But the stay was wonderful we didn’t want to leave.
We enjoyed our week at this house. The views of the pond and mountains were stunning with the fall colors! Overall the house was clean and we had everything we needed. The neighborhood was quiet and close to North Conway and the Kancamagus Highway.
The central location was perfect for exploring the area around Conway. The house is awesome, right on the lake with no close neighbors. Everything in the property descrption was right on. Access was simple, instructions were easy to follow. Plenty of parking. This property would be a great place for a family gathering. We loved the view of the lake and lakefront firepit. We'd recommend it to anyone.
Such a wonderful, cozy, quintessential New Hampshirite lake cabin! We loved the quiet setting away from ALL noise, the great fishing, the incredibly well stocked kitchen including many sources, oil, etc., the fireplace in the main level, the lake and mountain views out the large windows, the many boats, life jackets, variety of games for inside and outside use, the great Viking appliances, comfortable beds, gorgeous well-manicured front, back and side lawns, Bluetooth speaker, and in and on and on. We had a fantastic 5 brother trip. And Vacasa came through for us!
Overall stay here was nice. House was clean. Visited in the winter wpuld be better in the summer to really enjoy the lake.
Groom to be and a few friends stayed. Loved the house location on the pond. Gorgeous view. We took advantage of kayaks & swimming. Very close to Downtown North Conway. Went there to eat every night then came back for relaxing & having a fire with the amazing view as a backdrop. Previous guest didnt lock bearproof trash barrel so we did have a small clean up issue the first morning but it didn’t ruin our trip or anything. Couldnt have been any happier with the house, amenities, & location. Thanks so much
Everything was amazing. More than expected. The only complaint if any would be to update the tv to a smart tv.
Just absolutely beautiful, convenient to stores and dunkin donuts. Home Beautiful, clean, cozy.
We love, and spend a great deal of time in the Whites, and this was a great spot for a quick family getaway. It was easy to check in and out with a responsive property management company. Tons of board games for the little ones (TVs in every room if that’s your thing). We stayed in the winter and the home conveniently located near the slopes we wanted to hit with little ones, while also being close to North Conway. For those with little kids sometimes a house with a lot of stairs can be unnerving with toddlers but these were fine. The house is 3 floors and the middle level is the “heart” with an open floor kitchen, dining and living room; the Bottom floor to mid floor had a door securing the stairs and the upper level had a baby gate properly attached to secure the stairs. Both sets of stair cases were a modern reasonable pitch with proper railings. Overall a well taken care of home good for all ages and plenty of breakout space for games and socializing.
We enjoyed our time here very much.
We loved our weekend at this house! It was very clean and plenty of space for 3 adults and 2 kids (10 & 11). Views of the mountains and pequawket pond were gorgeous. The downstairs basement space was COLD despite having the heat on 70 (controlled from upstairs). So the 2 bedrooms in the basement and the living area with the tv weren’t where we spent much time (there is a wood stove in this basement space but it wasn’t working while we visited, guessing that would have made a huge difference). We used a space heater that was there to warm up the bathroom in the basement before showers (that was the bigger/nicer of the 2 bathrooms). Note - there isn’t a tv in the main living room upstairs where the fireplace is. We didn’t mind, we enjoyed fires and played games and cards at the dining table. Loved the open kitchen/dining/living room area. Close to n Conway for shopping and restaurants (about 15 mins).
Cozy, clean inviting home. Loved the location, a little drive to the slopes and center of Conway for shopping. Perfect mini vacation with family to ring in the New Year! Favorite part was the view from the backyard, gorgeous mountains overlooking the icy pond, breathtaking! Actually saw some neighbors ice fishing!!
Loved the porch, the outdoor area overlooking the water, the rockers on the deck. So peaceful!
We genuinely enjoyed our stay. The view and pond were awesome and the amenities at the home were perfect for what we needed.
We had a wonderful weekend spoiling Mom. The house was beautiful and the views from the deck were stunning. We did lose power the first night due to a tree down in the neighborhood. Thankfully there were a few candles and a couple lanterns we could use. But we had fun playing games and having cocktails by candlelight.
We just stayed at the property during the Memorial Day weekend, 2022. The view of the lake and the mountains are amazing. Waking up to view these is a blessing. We enjoyed the canoeing and fishing. The top two floors of the house is better than the bottom floor. The bottom floor’s bunk beds needed to be changed. They are old, make creaky noise, and the bottom part of the mattress are falling off. The couches in the downstair are old and smelly. The main floor needs a bathroom or half bathroom. If you stay in the bedroom in the main floor and if you need to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night you have to go either downstairs or the top floor in the dark, which is not convenient at all. Otherwise the house has everything. I will give this house 4 out of 5 just for inconvenient if the bathroom for the main floor and the bunk beds in the downstairs.
beautiful property with an amazing view. The house is very clean and accommodating. Hope to make it back in the summer months, although any time of year would be nice at this property.
