Property and overall experience was as expected with a home thats from 1960. Outdated a bit, and could use some minor upkeep, but generally very happy. Pier didnt have a 2nd cleat to dock boat properly, and there were minor flaws that we told property manager about. More so for future guests. Over all good experience and happy.
Voyager View is wonderful, at the very end of a little peninsula so you feel like you are in the middle of the lake! It's quiet, and there's plenty of space to get outside and picnic or fish in your own back yard. The house is really well equipped, and has a great kitchen (we cooked in almost the whole time). Loved it and will definitely be returning!
Maintenance is needed! Badly! Broken fireplace- which was 1 of the top reasons we booked the rental. All screen doors were broken in some manner. Carpets stained. Dirty socks, gum wrappers under bed. Dock on east side is a critical hazzard! The place could be a gem. The views are amazing!
Third time we have been there. It is showing it’s age. No screen back door, front porch door needs repair, refrigerator having problems with the plug I found extension cord and plugged refrig into it in a different wall outlet. Now it works. New pier is nice but the cleets are not fastened down with proper length screws. They are loose. Front door hard to close . Minimum shading in front room. Rugs are very old stained and need to be replaced Now the good stuff . Putting the problems aside we still love the place Sheets, towels lots of them clean One last thing ………What happen to our nice bottle of wine? New Owner????
This was our second visit to Voyager View. Location is stunning as you’re on your peninsula. Dogs were in heaven! Close to boat rental. Fishing from piers was not as fruitful as our last visit. Located in the chain so access to many other lakes with a short boat ride. Interior is clean and has all the necessities. Would have loved to use the fireplace but was closed for repairs. Exterior could use some love but overall a great place to stay in Eagle River and plan to return.
This property is in an amazing location on the Eagle River Chain. We loved how we could dock our boat right out the door, and hop in and go. They even supplied wood for the firepit which was awesome. The property is definitely dated, and could use a refresh. There seemed to be spider webs on all of the windows and the floors were dirty. The layout of the place was great, but the secondary bathroom tile is in need of repairs. The kitchen has the absolute basics, but didn't have some of the needed supplies such as salt and pepper, plastic wrap, or even enough dishes. These are all items that are not necessary, just we didn't bring as usually they were supplied. Overall we would stay here again as the property and location were amazing!!!
We had a great time at Voyageur View! The views of the lake were amazing, and we were conveniently located to other lakes and downtown Eagle River. The cottage could use some upkeep, but overall, it was very nice.
House was nice for four adults, which is what we had. Would be fine for larger family but would not have been for 3 couples (unless one couple was ok sleeping in bunk beds). Nice screened in porch. Location is partway through the Eagle River chain so easy to get to other lakes but more of a pass-through lake with a lot of boat and jet ski traffic just off the point, no real swimming area here though there is a beach one lake over. Our only real complaint is the landlord could have supplied the property better. We ran out of dishwasher pods and toilet paper about 2 days into the week and a Britta pitcher would have been nice as the tap water was not great.
Good location and nice home. Vacasa support was terrible
Had a great week at A Voyageur View. We loved the location on Voyageur Lake and being on a peninsula, the views were amazing. The kids enjoyed having the multiple docks to fish from. We rented a boat from the local marina and the kids loved having it parked at our own dock. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our week. We would definitely rent A Voyageur View again.
