Stayed Jul 26, 2025Our family decided to go on vacation in Texas this year before the unfortunate flooding took place. We checked in with the owner to see if there was any damage that we would expect to see with the recent destruction and tragedy that would affect our stay and rental. They said that there was no major damage to the home or surrounding area and that everything is in good shape and were looking forward to seeing us soon. When we got there the expected shed was completely underwater and the 2 kayaks were gone. We had to tell the owners about it. It took the entire week for them help get something for us which we did appreciate the one day rental of 3 kayaks for us, but we would have thought that they would have known. Their fire pit was gone as well. Also in the house one of the beds was broken already when our guests went to lay in it and the maintainence took over a day to come and fix it so we had to put books under it for the night. When they got there to fix it they already had the replacement bed in the closet ready to be set up because it was broken already.Lounge chairs, outsidetv,and child security latch near the water was broken. And many dead flies in the kitchen counter lights. The house itself was beautiful and pool was nice. Not sure if the cleaning/maintanence crew communicate with the owners. The owner tried to communicate as much as they could given the multiple times during the week we had to communicate. Overall, we would not come back to this location.

Stayed Jul 13, 2025We had a great time! There were plenty of beds and space for everyone to spread out. The bunk room and game room were great escapes for the kids. Few things need fixing - the bath tub in the master bath is wobbly, the outdoor speakers didn’t work, the remotes didn’t work the tvs in the bedrooms, the floors were dirty, there were lots of spiders - even a black widow in the pool and cobwebs inside the house. Overall, it’s a good place to stay.

Stayed Apr 24, 2025Spacious house with plenty of room for your family and friends to stay and enjoy themselves. Amenities were great and location was excellent! Restaurants within walking distance and right off the main road to get to other things.

Stayed Dec 30, 2024Very disappoint! Could have had a much newer and cleaner property for half the price. The couch is also so uncomfortable and the window was hanging out on the wall UPSTAIRS in the kids bunk room. Dirty socks all outside by the pool area. Most showers didn’t drain. Needs a good clean and some new furniture. The bed were comfortable.

Stayed Jul 4, 2024Location was great and host was very kind and quick to reply. The house & yard was nasty. It’s not properly maintained. Beds were broken, hot tub cover was broken, over grown weeds/grass which housed snakes, over all it was very dirty. We could see ourselves coming back only if it was properly taken care of and really cleaned.

Stayed Jun 17, 2024Beautiful home. Extremely well stocked with everything you need. Teenagers loved the pool and the pool table. Adults loved the porches and outdoor kitchen. Plenty of comfortable beds for everyone. Would stay again!
