Stayed Jul 6, 2025This was our family’s first trip to the UP with 6 kids (5-14) and 2 adults. This home fit us perfectly. She kept it well stocked with linens, towels, kitchen items, and any extra toiletries that may have been forgotten. The home is on a very quiet lake with shallow area all the way out past the dock. It was nice to spend an afternoon there with the kayaks on site. The rest of the time we were on the go but this location was central, everything was less than 1.5hrs away. We enjoyed Pictured Rocks, Tahqaumenon State Park, Mackinac island, Marquette Presque Isle Park, and Manistique. Would recommend!!

Stayed Jun 7, 2025We loved our time at this property. Everything was nearly as we expected, with the only exception being one of the bedrooms was quite close to the living room and only had a curtain. Having a larger group made this a little challenging at nighttime with kids, but made it work just fine. Lovely host- easy to get ahold of and had everything we needed.

Stayed Aug 16, 2024The property was adequate for a special celebration with our family. Spectacular views and a good time was had by all. I’d encourage safety railing on the stairs and an overhaul of the septic tho. Thanks to our host for being do accommodating.

Stayed Jun 23, 2024Spacious clean house. The minute you walk through the front door you are blasted with a beautiful view of the lake! My husband and I brought my elderly parents and adult kids (18 and 20) and everyone had a fantastic time. If you need a place to get away from chaotic everyday life…..rent this place, you won’t be sorry!

Stayed Jun 13, 2024Remember...everything in the UP is one hour away! So when you return from Munising, Newberry, Manistique or Paradise or even Germfask, Curtis and Gilbert coming back to this lovely home on the water is fantastic. We had a large common livingroom and kitchen, but when you needed privacy, the bedrooms were quite. There is one queen bed in an area off the livingroom, so just curtains (no walls/doors), but my neice and her husband loved the view of the lake and the sunrise in the morning. The lake was not busy so the younger ones learned how to kayak. UP is where it is at, so enjoy!

Stayed Aug 6, 2023We had a wonderful stay. Normally we are campers but do rent vacation homes at times. We had a family of 10 (2 grown daughters and spouses and kids) and enough sleeping area. Visited many places that some have been before, and others had not. We did a lot of sightseeing. Hiked to several falls, took the sunset cruise through pictured rocks, visited kitch-iti-kipi spring, some went geocaching, rode thru state parks, fished at the ponds in Seeney, kids played at county park next door, took a couple of the kayaks and our canoe out in the lake, played cards and games and had a campfire the last night. Also brought bikes but didn't use much. Wish we would have had a few more days just to sit around the house and enjoy the lake. Would recommend to anyone needing extra room and wanting to relax or sightsee in the area.
