Lakefront, Historic Estate on the Eagle River Chain of Lakes! Sleeps 42!

The property is truly special, with a rich history and excellent modern amenities on an unbeatable location on the chain. The boathouse/gameroom, beach, and sports court were thoroughly enjoyed by everyone, as was the main manor. There was a snag with check in where the front door lock wasn't working and we were missing some fire starting supplies, but the management company was responsive and worked to quickly correct the issues. Our extended family had a wonderful week and we hope to return in the future.

We loved everything about this trip. Pictures do not do this place Justice. It is amazing property, sound system, amenities and staff is easy to work with. We loved it!

We have a large family representing all ages from infants to seniors. The staff is always responsive and easy to work with. The views of the lake are beautiful and we have easy access to our private beach, docks and boathouse – which easily accommodate the wave runners and pontoon boat we rent during our stay. The home is set up well for entertaining inside and out. It is always in immaculate condition and in general very comfortable. This has become an annual destination for us and we plan to stay again next summer.

This is one of the best places we have stayed at. Complete privacy with so much space. The owners did everything right when they remodeled the property so there is a great mixture of old charm with new amenities. We lost power and they struggled to get the Wi-Fi reconnected, but otherwise everything was perfect.

Awesome property! Beautiful very large yard, tennis courts, play set for little ones, basketball court…..I could go on and on about amenities. Our only problem was mowing service coming to mow on our second morning and then the next day, lawn care service came to fertilize and spread chemicals. Absolutely unacceptable when we had 10 grandkids under the age of 6 playing in the yard constantly. Management company would do nothing to stop them…. We finally called the landscape company from a number on the side of their truck and they graciously agreed and left the property! We felt these items should be handled on a “turn over” day or when property is not rented.

The main and guest homes were spacious and perfect for this size gathering. The boat house was a perfect spot for the adults to gather each evening. The beach and playground were enjoyed by the kids. We thoroughly enjoyed the large kitchen and ample seating indoors and outdoors for meals. Most guests said this was an event and experience they'll remember forever. Our only issue with the rental was inability to use the home's audio/video system the entire 3rd day of our stay. Power in the area was lost for a few hours and when it was restored, the rental company wasn't able to assist with resetting the home's audio/video system. It's a smart home with full house sound, so not being able to use it was really disappointing.
