Lakefront Custom-Built Mentone Home: Game Room!

This was the perfect rental house for our family in Mentone! It was immaculate, well appointed, and had everything we needed for a great family getaway! We will definitely be back and I would recommend this to anyone looking to stay in the Mentone area!

Beautiful and relaxing.

Mark was extremely helpful and welcoming. The lodge was wonderful, with a variety of means for rest and entertainment. Large enough to find solitude. TVs, games, well-equipped kitchen, deck and screened areas to appreciate the views of the lake. Hope to be back next year!

Our entire family thoroughly enjoyed our time at this Lakehouse! It is located in a beautiful area, close to the Town of Mentone and the nearby State Parks! It was furnished really well and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed! An added bonus, was the separate ice maker in the kitchen. All of the beds were comfortable. The outdoor porches were great for hanging out on and enjoying the beautiful scenery, even when it rained. We all enjoyed the upstairs gameroom! We were able to play pool, ping pong, foos ball and darts! We spent lots of time at the nice dock and in the lake. There was so much to do out there…. swimming, fishing or paddling around in the kayaks, paddle boards or paddle boat that the host provided. We also enjoyed the wood burning hot tub. We had never seen one like this, but it was very easy to use.This place was much better than we ever imagined. Lots of family memories were made here and our grandkids told us that it was the best place we have ever stayed on any of our family vacations! We would definitely stay here again! Communication with the host was very good! We contacted him while we were there and he was quick to respond!

My whole family really enjoyed this place! We love swimming and fishing, paddle boarding at the dock. We really like the screened in porch area with the swings! The game area upstairs was fun!

The house was awesome!! It had everything we needed and so much more! It definitely exceeded our expectations! We will definitely be booking again!

Communication with host was great. House could use a deep cleaning. Could not get rid of fruit flys. Upstairs ac in game loft not working. Ac in upstairs BR not ideal and noisy. Master BR does not have a clothes closet.

Great place to play, rest and connect with your family. We will be returning.

Absolutely loved this cabin! Spacious and comfortable! The kids enjoyed the loft/ game room and everyone loved being around the massive fireplace!!Our host was super nice and helpful.

Our family stayed here to celebrate Thanksgiving. This beautiful home couldn’t have been more perfect. It overlooks the Little River with a dock to fish off, big beautiful wood burning fireplace, huge kitchen, game room, 4 wonderful bedrooms. I can’t recommend this place in the mountains near the river and state parks enough. I highly recommend!!

We’ve realized it was a great place to have our time together as friends before booking! But it was really better than we thought it would be! We had a great time and the host was such a nice person, helped us out right away with any needs we had, he made everything easy and great,super welcoming ! We cant wait to get back there ?

Let me start off by saying that VRBO has the house's location incorrect. It makes it look like the house is near the center of Mentone when in actuality it is about 10 minutes east on Lake Lahusage. This is a quaint and tiny lake that's perfect for using the supplied kayaks and paddle boards. The house itself is huge with plenty of room to spread out, spacious decks and living room. There is a pool table, fooseball, and ping pong to keep everyone entertained. The house and grounds are well maintained as well as being pet friendly. We had a great time and plan to be back. Lastly, be sure to confirm the location with the owner just to make sure you know where to go. They have tried to get VRBO to update the gps but it hasn't been corrected yet. It's not hard to find but can be easy to miss.
