The stunning waterways and marshlands of Martha's Vineyard are just outside your door at this two-bedroom Oak Bluffs home, a charming island cottage that offers a lovely back deck, an ideal location close to the ferries, and views of Brush Pond, Lagoon Pond, and Vineyard Sound.

Beautifully situated on the eastern edgeof Brush Pond, this single-level home enjoys waterfront views that reach all the way to downtown Vineyard Haven. It's also just over one mile from the Oak Bluffs Steamship Authority and Oak Bluffs Town Beach, two miles from the Vineyard Haven Steamship Authority, and only four miles from the gorgeous expanse of Joseph Sylvia State Beach.

Whether you're planning a family vacation or a summer getaway with friends, this quaint cottage puts you within walking distance of the ferries, ocean beaches, restaurants, and shops that make Martha's Vineyard so special.

You'll find hardwood floors, large windows, and vibrant hues of blue and green in the sunny and cheerful living space. Return home from a day on the beach (sand-free, thanks to the outdoor shower) and challenge your friends to a board game, or use the WiFi to make dinner reservations in downtown Oak Bluffs.

The blue-and-green motif continues in the full kitchen, which features butcher block countertops, full-size appliances, and even a dishwasher to handle the clean-up. Use the lobster pot to boil freshly caught seafood, and sit down for dinner at the spacious indoor dining table. The home is equipped with a private washer and dryer. The living room area has an A/C minisplit which will help you feel cool and comfortable in the summer months.

But there are few reasons to stay inside when such beautiful views await on the back deck. Spend your days sunbathing on an Adirondack chair or simply admiring the stunning view of Brush Pond, Lagoon Pond, and Vineyard Haven; each evening, fire up the gas grill for a sunset meal at the patio table.

Head down to one of the nearby beaches each morning to catch a beautiful sunrise. You'll come home to a TV with basic cable and a DVD player to help you unwind.

With two bedrooms and one full bathroom, this home will comfortably sleep as many as four guests. The master bedroom offers a queen-size bed, while the guest room features a twin-size futon.

And you need not worry about keeping your beach clothes salt- and sand-free. This home is equipped with a private washer and dryer, as well as baseboard heat for chilly island evenings.

As one of New England's most beloved beach destinations since the 19th century, Oak Bluffs is a place for leisurely bike rides and afternoon swims in the warm waters of Nantucket Sound. The calm waves of Oak Bluffs Town Beach are perfect for families, and you'll be just a few blocks from the Flying Horses Carousel, the oldest platform carousel in the country and a national historic landmark.

Just a few miles south of Oak Bluffs, the two-mile expanse of Joseph Sylvia State Beach is ideal for windsurfing, beachcombing, and fishing for striped bass.

Don't miss this opportunity to enjoy the breathtaking landscapes of Martha's Vineyard - reserve your stay at this Oak Bluffs cottage today!

The cottage has everything we needed, gorgeous deck with views, washer/dryer, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, full bath plus a bonus outside shower. The location is very convenient too. The only issue is we visited in August and there’s no AC! Morning’s were bearable but come late afternoon and it was hot inside the house. There are windows and fans but the sun shines into the big picture windows in the living room all day. Better window coverings (blackout shades) may help, but that was the only negative.

We loved this cottage. The kitchen was supplied with all the utensiles needed to rustle up some wonderful meals. It rained 2 days and we enjoyed settling in and enjoying the marsh view. A perfect base for exploring MV.

We loved our stay here. It was very easy to access and the house is beautiful. Really nice to chill in for a few days and quite well equipped if you are into cooking. The only thing I would rate negatively is the quality of the beds. The house is supposed to be for 4 people so there is a queen bed and two single ones. But one of those single beds was actually a pull out sofa that was VERY uncomfortable. The mattress was too thin so it was pretty much like sleeping on the frame. I think for the price of this property this could be improved.

This place was cozy. The sunsets were great and was perfect for a family of three. The ambience were really great. The house is well-kept and was thoroughly clean. The bathrooms however were a bit dated. And the house itself is a bit difficult/hard to find off of the main street. Backing up out of the driveway was also difficult if you had entered into the driveway front in first as you were backing up into an active street. Overall a great stay.

The house is in a perfect location- quiet but close town. The view from the back deck is beautiful, and my favorite is the outdoor shower. Would stay here again!

The view really is the best part of this property. We also enjoyed that it was only about a mile walk into the town center since we didn't rent a car. The kitchen was nicely appointed and the overall look of the house is very cheerful & cottagey. I'd read two reviews before booking that said the beds were uncomfortable and decided to chance it figuring everyone has different preferences. I should have listened, the beds are really uncomfortable. We woke up every morning with sore backs! The living room furniture is also pretty uncomfortable. It wouldn't have really mattered, but we had a cold & rainy day and so we spent most of it indoors. For this day it was nice to have a Smart TV that we could sign into Netflix and Amazon on. While the bathroom was fine, there was mold on the shower curtain which feels like an easy fix. I would expect more comfortable furniture/beds given how much we paid per night.
